“Harry stop forcing yourself! Look your veins are popping from you neckline!” I held his hand softly to calm him down but he shook it away and looked at me deeply. “Let what baby tell me?” I was pleased to hear his voice, but still he was suffering from speaking on a normal boundary. “(He held my hand and placed it on his right wrist.) L-L-let…” I looked at him confused, and the nurse directly ran to locate the doctor. “(I lifted my hand from his wrist and brushed his hair to the back, to help him relax a little.) Its ok, you spoke at least right? I promise you that when your voice is back completely; I’ll ask you for what you meant alright?” He looked disappointed of himself and coughed a little, from the excess effort he tried to release from his vocals. “Miss Blake, could you please step out so I can examine his lungs?” I heard the doctor’s voice behind me, and for that I leaned down to kiss his nose and I left the room.
What did Harry want? Did he mean let me get out of here? Or let someone do something for me? Or let me use my phone? I really am confused, and why did he make me hold his wrist? Thank god he spoke at least, even though it wasn’t clear but his vocal chords are working again. As soon as the doctor stepped out of Harry’s room, I walked to face him. “Please tell me he’s alright.” I frowned as the doctor made me feel better with a smile he prevailed on his face. “He will be able to speak normally in no time, I just examined his lungs, and the swelling is 99 percent gone. 24 hours and he will be able to communicate with you without the white board and markers. His hand is recovering right on track, hopefully by next week; we will take off the flexible cast and start his physiotherapy.” Joy flushed into my entire body from the wonderful announcements made by the doctor. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing to be honest! HARRY JUST WAIT FOR TOMORROW! 1 MORE DAY BABY AND YOU’LL BE ABLE TO FULLY SPEAK!! I AM SO HAPPY THANK YOU GOD!
****The Next Day****
Just a quick flashback on what happened later yesterday: I told Harry the news and with that his sad face changed into a widened up smile. I stayed all day with him, as I tried my best to lift his spirit up with future plans of what we could do, or where we could go when he gets out. I wanted him to shift his mind from the small portion of pain left to be cured soon. I really don’t know what happened at night, because Zayn insisted I go and sleep; Liam, Him, and Louis said they will take over. I couldn’t argue but I made them promise me to call, if there was any news about my lover’s condition.
I slept for a couple of hours, because I was still struggling in thinking about what Harry meant to say to me. Once I woke up, I ran into the shower and matched a comfortable outfit so that I can head off to the hospital (http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=99185793). Everyone was still asleep, and for that I didn’t have to say any good morning to anyone in the mansion. I went downstairs and stepped out to drive my car. I BARELY DRIVE, THANK GOODNESS I CAN RIGHT NOW!
