As soon as Paul saw me walking inside my room backstage, he threw me in the biggest hug he ever gave me, I couldn’t maintain my screaming either! I was so happy and we both were laughing, but we stopped as soon as we knew that we have 8 minutes to make me dazzle in my evening gown. I chose a dress from Dior, nothing so flashy and certainly not filled with any sort of glitter; elegance is always found if you’re simple. He fixed my hair as quick as possible and adjusted my makeup faster than ever, while I was sliding over my dress and wearing my heels. “I think I am seeing a crown on your head earlier than I expect.” Paul was smiling as he looked at me in the mirror; I was all set to leave before I heard a knock on my door.
”Come in please.” Paul instructed to the person behind the door, and as soon as it opened I felt like being gifted a credit card with limitless spending balance. “Wow... (He coughed clearing his throat) I just Erm... Wanted to congratulate you and wish you all the best Kimberly.” Harry was clearly blushing once he saw me in my evening gown; he is the most adorable creature I ever saw. HARRY YOU ARE SO SWEET TO COME AND SHARE THIS WITH ME! UGH WHY DID YOU HAVE TO SHOW UP RIGHT NOW!? I WON’T BE ABLE TO CONCENTRATE AFTER THIS! I MUST MAKE HIM LEAVE OR ELSE I WILL BE SITTING ON HIS LAP IN LESS THAN A MINUTE! “Thank you so much Harry, if you’ll excuse me I need to head to stage. It’s time for me to go up again.” I walked up to him and then opened the door, after he respectfully nodded. HARRY IS BEING POLITE AND A GENTLEMAN?! THIS GUY IS CONFUSING MY BRAIN! ONE MOEMNT HE IS FLIRTY, AND THE NEXT HE IS PRINCE CHARMING!? KIMBERLY BLAKE STOP THIS RIGHT NOW, AND FOCUS ON WINNING!
I stood there waiting for this Texas Queen to end her catwalk so that my turn comes up, but the waiting time was filled with something unexpected at all. I felt arms hovering me in a light hug, they were very masculine and warm; I felt like I didn’t want to let go. “I forgot to give you this before you left; good luck again.” Harry Edward Styles has given me the first physical-affectionate hug ever... WOW! He left me laughing like a fool to myself.“Miss California they are calling your name! Go!” I snapped out of my phase as the one of the crew members made me return to my senses in the second; I went on stage as everybody went insanely crazy when they saw me. A billion camera flashes and all I could think of was that British heartthrob’s hug. GET BACK TO YOU SENSES YOU ARE ON STAGE NOW!
“And with Miss California, we now move to the unified question of tonight. As one of the girls answer, the other two will have their ears covered with headsets so that they wouldn’t hear the question. First Up, Miss Kimberly Blake!” I was so happy to get the same amount of cheers every time the announced my name; I walked to stand next to Isabelle as she opened the envelope to read out my question. THIS IS IT THINK CLREARLY OF THE QUESTION AND ANSWER AFTER YOU HAVE UNDERSTOOD IT PERFECLTY! “Kimberly, what would you do to enhance the country if you were crowned tonight as Miss USA?” Thankfully I knew such question might be asked, so I was previously prepared to answer this with confidence and relaxation.
“(She handed me the microphone as I faced the crowd and the cameras) I believe that such title is given to a lady that would represent her country with her knowledge, loyalty, and portray it in a picture perfect representation. If God planned my winning for tonight, I will make sure to shine all of the beauty of this country wherever I go. I will create awareness campaigns and produce events that encourage our people to stop some of the negative issues we are encountering; thank you.” I knew that my answer was an epic success once I heard whistling and endless cheering as they kept yelling my name. “Well spoken, Thank you Kimberly. I would like to invite Miss Texas to join us now.” As I walked back to my older position, I saw Miss Texas eyeing me as we reached a point of intersection. I ignored her looks and stood beside Miss Alaska, aka cheerful and smiley Sandra. She smiled and gave me thumbs up as those huge headsets where on her head; I giggled and patted her shoulder.
