We've Learned To Live Past The Mistakes
Chapter Ten
“Ok well here it goes,” I began.
“So the day you killed mom, I ran away, scared you would do the same to me too. I packed a suitcase, and climbed out of window, and crawled down my old tree house. I caught a cab, went to the airport and ordered a ticket to London. I met this boy named Louis Tomlinson. He’s that boy in the band named One Direction. So long story short, we started dating, I got pregnant, and I caused him to ruin his dream and I ran away. And that’s how I got here now. Is that a buyable story?” I said.
“Ok, and yes,” my father said back to me.
“What should I do,” I asked him nervously.
“Well I think if he asks to take you back, you should, because every man should have a chance to be a father, no matter how many times they screw up. But, you shouldn’t go begging for his forgiveness either,” my father replied.
“Okay,” I said, “I’ll try to remember that.
Then just as if karma was totally against me, I got a text from Louis.
‘Watch me on the Ellen Show tonight’
Welcome to the immense joyride through heaven and hell, I thought to myself. But yay, I would get to see his beautiful face. Wait Emma, why are you thinking that? You hate him and he hates you. Maybe I really do miss him after all.
