Chapter 14: Do I?
Harry's POV
Seems like iv'e been for days. But it's only been 4 hours.
"Is anyone here for Amelia Sterwood?" The doctor said
"Yes... me" I said standing up
While walking down the hallway with the doctor, he kept talking and talking on and on about how she was doing, i was to worried about her to even listen about her.
"So she might not remember you" He said opening the door to her room
"Huh..? Okay thank you sir.." walking into the room
She look so peaceful... what was he saying about her? Shit i should of listened. He said something like she wont remember me or something? What even happened..?
"Doctor, so why wont she remember me?" I said stopping him outside the door way
"My boy weren't you listening? Well, when she woke up she was having seizure's. We don't know what exactly caused her fainting, maybe her stress level was to high, maybe something happened and not enough blood was going to her head. Well whatever happened, faints occur if brain blood flow and/or oxygen delivery fall temporarily below minimum requirements for normal function. Sometimes people lose memory. And in this case she did, we tried talking to her, she still knows somethings. But she might not remember others... Only the really important things she seems to still have."
"Oh.. okay thank you doctor... I'm going to go talk to her"
I felt so sick in the stomach... will she remember me? Am i important to her? I'm so glad Bryson was watching her for me while i ran out. I didn't even ask what happened, as soon as i heard, i got out of the store and went to 3 different hospitals to find her. Looking at her brings tears to my eyes. If she ever died... i would do the same. I hope Zayn doesnt think im a softy... because... im not. Im... Im..
"m...h...m.."
"Amelia??" I said grabbing her hand
"Huh?" She looked so confused
"Amelia, I'm here. I'm here baby" I said stroking her hair
"Where... where am i" She said sitting up
"Relax. Your in the hospital"
She looked at me like i was some stranger... i wanted to burst out in tears... My eyes were blood shot from crying, my nose is all red...
"Why did you leave me?"
"What? No, No Amelia, im right here" I said kneeling on her bed
"No.... why did you leave me at the hotel" she took her hand away from mine
I looked at her... did that really mean something to her? I... I never got asked that before. I got up from the bed, and looked at her. I walked over to the door, and put my head on it. I didn't know what to say.. How do i tell her i was scared? Scared to love again? I didn't leave her on purpose... I wiped the tears with my shirt before i turned around
"I... I..."
"You really hurt me Harry... when we cuddled all night... I thought maybe... you loved me..."
I put my hands on my eyes and started to cry, i reached in my pocket to get out her present i got her. But as soon as i looked up with a smile. Her heart monitor was going crazy and she was also. The nurses ran in
"Sir you have to leave right now!"
"NO!!! I will not leave her!"
"Sir, leave this room right now. She is having a seizure!"
The doctors ran in and pulled me out. I looked at her while getting ripped out of the room.
"I'm not leaving you Amelia!! I'm not! I promise!!"
The site of her made me collapse to my knees. I sat outside of the room.
"You can come in now" The nurse said
I stood up silently and walked in to see her laying there , so peacefully. The doctors left.
"She can hear you, but she cant speak right now because of the medicine we gave her" doctors told me
They walked out and i moved my chair right next to her. I grabbed her hand and kissed it.
"Look Amelia... (trying not to cry) I didn't leave you... Just like i promised. (My voice trembling) I'm sorry for leaving you at the hotel... I got you something. You said you thought i loved you... well... i like you a lot Amelia, your all i got, and all i want. I love-"
I started to cry
"Your the only girl i have ever cried over.. Hey Amelia... remember when we first met? I knocked into you and you dropped your books. Ha how movie based. Then you accidentally bent over and bumped into my area... Your were so embarrassed.. (laughing but crying)"
I've been talking non stop about my life to her. She just laid there.
"Z...Zay.. Zayn.."
I looked at her as she tossed and turned her body...
"Right..Zayn..." i said looking down
"Where's Zayn?" Amelia said sitting up
"He uh... he.."
"Did he leave me...?"
"Uh.. Amelia... he had to..."
"Why? Why did he have to leave me?"
"Because... he.. Amelia i dont know"
She put her arms up and looked at me.
"Hold me Harry"
I got up and held her in my arms. I tried my hardest not to cry. I don't think i could any more anyways. My mind was going crazy, i love her. No i dont. I love her. No Harry!! No you dont! I got up and got the doctors conceit to bring her home. I gathered all her things and brought her out of the hospital. I put her in the car and closed her door and started to drive.
"Why did you leave me" Amelia asked
"Amelia... It's hard to explain"
"No its not.."
"Well i came to see you. Isn't that all the counts?
"No... where's Zayn"
"Ugh... I dont know. Are we going home? Or hotel room?"
"Home"
We finally got to her house. I picked her up bridal style and opened the door like we were married. I made her dinner and we sat at the table.
"I uh.. I got you something.. Turn around"
"Oh Harry!!! It's beautiful!!" Oh my god!!!" She through her arms around me
"I got it just for you baby, that's why i wasn't there in the morning at the hotel, i went to go by this for you!" I said with a big smile
"Because... you... love me?" She said looking up at me
"Oh uh... i got it because your my girl."
"Yeah..."
I called Zayn off of Amelia's phone...
Ring Ring Ring
"Hello? Amelia?!"
"Hey, it's Harry... I um... I wanted to thank you again for taking Amelia to the hospital."
"Oh... uh yeah. Sure mate... can i ask you something?"
"Weird.. but sure"
"Do you even love her? Or are you just here because you have nothing else"
I pondered for a little bit... maybe i did love her. Maybe i dont...
"Both"
I hung up.
I turned to see my beautiful Amelia, She was looking at me. Like she had a million questions. I'm sure she does. She lost some memory. But i have no idea what she lost...
I ran over to her and picked her up. I just looked her in the eyes. I put her down gently, but my eyes were still fixed on her's. A small smile formed on her face.
"Where are the kids?" she said kissing my neck
I moved away
"Haha what? What kids?"
"Our kids? We have 3 of them? You lost them? Harry i can't believe you!"
"Baby... Amelia... we dont have kids..."
"Why don't we? We've been married for 8 years."
"Amelia... your crazy... listen. You and Zayn have been friends for 8 years... Me and you have been d-d-....dating.. for 3 days"
"Oh...I'm sorry..."
"It's okay baby, you lost memory. We're dating. Your in the 11th grade. We aren't married. Your confused on somethings. Hahaha"
"Don't laugh! That's embarrassing.. Well i know what im not confused on"
"Oh yeah?? (trying to hold in my laugh) What's that?"
"I love you."
There it was. The word. Usually i walk out on this part. She stared at me with a smile. The very last moment i said i love you was when i got kicked out of my house. Should i just walk out... No. That would be a prick move. I don't want to say i love you back.. if i do... I will get hurt.. better yet.. i don't want to hurt her-
"Harry... did you hear me?"

"Hey, it's Harry... I um... I wanted to thank you again for taking Amelia to the hospital."
"Oh... uh yeah. Sure mate... can i ask you something?"
