(Kyla's POV)
"Bubba, can we talk?" I asked. "Sure. What's up? You seem troubled." He said. He always had a way with big words. Yet he never says supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. Anyway,... "Well, um, I kinda ran into Harry at the coffee shop..." There was a disturbing silence as I waited for the wrath of Liam to rain down on Harry. "What. Did. He. Do?" He said angrily. His tone mad de me cringe. "N-nothing really. H-he was w-working." I stuttered. He sighed. "It's a yes or no, Kyla. Did he do something to you?" He asked. I sighed. "He kinda gave me his number...." I said. Yet again more stinging silence from the other line of the phone. "Don't call him. All he will do is hurt you." he said worriedly. "I really don't see how Harry is such a bad guy." I said. "Well he is. Stay away from him." "No." I fought. "Kyla, don't be a dumbass with me!" He yelled. "You're the one telling me who to and who not to be friends with!" "I don't need your shit!" "Fine!" I yelled hanging up. I curled up in a ball and broke down crying on the floor. I flung out my cell phone and dialed Harry's number. It rang a few times and then he picked up. "Ello?" He answered. "Harry? It's Kyla. Are you still at work?" I said, voice shaking. "No I'm driving home. A-are you okay?" He asked. "No. Can you come over? It's 1640 Drenal Ave." I croaked. "Yeah. I'll be right over." He said hanging up. Not but 15 minutes later, I heard a knock at my door. I got up and answered it to Harry. I flung my arms around him and cried into his shoulder. He sighed. "Was it Liam?" He asked. I pushed away. "How'd you know?" I asked, leading him in. "Lucky guess?"
