The second I walked into the school building today, I knew I should have just jumped into that pot hole on the way here. Lindsey not-so-subtly coughed "whore" a little too loudly. I just kept my head down and kept walking until I reached my locker. To my ever growing bucket of luck, it jammed. I kicked it and it opened. To my Suprise, water drenched me from head to toe. A bucket was attached to the door, so when it opened, water came with it.

I even attempted to look nice today. a little but of mascara, lip gloss, and concealer. I even brushed my hair! my white shirt now clung to my body. I let the tears fall as I realized I shouldn't have even tried. Im just so pathetic. Everyone's laughter filled the room, partially hiding my sobs.

"Aww, look shes crying, poor baby" Lindsey said sarcastically. I made my way to the bathroom, until her foot jutted out and tripped me.

"Sorry! didn't see you there! I could have sworn you were invisible" Lindsey yelled, only adding to the laughter. She put out her hand to help me, but removed it as I slipped in my own puddle of water. I crawled to the bathroom. Not before quickly catching the eye of the curly headed boy. He looked at me with regret as he turned away. The bell rang. I made my way into the stall and locked it. A quiet but raspy voice spoke quietly

"Im sorry"
