Chapter 12
THE NEXT DAY
Jeanette’s POV.
I woke up this morning feeling really happy. I sat and stretched, yawning in the process. Last night was one of the best nights of my life. Just hanging out with Harry, Isabella, and Niall made life better. Harry was finally my boyfriend and Isabella had no problem letting me do this so life right now was great.
I heard him groan beside me which made me chuckle. “Get up sleepy head” I ruffled his curls with my right hand since he was laying on my right side.
“Uhhh, nooooooo” If it’s one thing I knew about Harry, he did not like getting woken up when asleep. Niall told me this plenty of times but me being the hard-headed one, I didn’t listen. Sucks to suck.
I felt his arms wrap around me, pulling me back down into a laying position. I couldn’t stop the giggles from escaping me as he softly rubbed his hands on my stomach. “Harry stooooop, you know I get ticklish easy” The husky chuckle of his filled my ears, making me smile.
He still didn’t open his eyes which meant he was still half sleep. “What time is it Jean?” I looked over him and at my alarm clock. “Its 11:00 Harry! You need to get up!” He weakly opened his eyes and stared at me. Immediately, I got butterflies.
This always happened when he looked at me. It’s the same feeling I got when I first saw him. I still never know why I’m so nervous near him but I know it’s a good thing for me. We did nothing but stare at each other until he broke the silence.
“You’re so beautiful Jeanette” I merely smiled back at him, my eyes never leaving his. His hand caressed my cheek, causing me to lean into it, my eyes closing. He had his arm over his head, covering his eyes. I picked up his arm and laid my head close to his chest as he rewrapped his arm around me.
We stayed like this for a couple more minutes until I heard a loud knock from the door. “YOU GUYS DECENT?” Harry groaned and shook his head. I laughed and poked my head up. “No were naked and prancing around the room like horses!” I heard a faint chuckle, obviously Niall’s, from the other side of the door.
“You can come in!” I laid my head back down in its regular position as Harry looked up to see Niall and Isabella walking in smiling. “Awhhh don’t you guys look cute!” I didn’t look up because I was blushing so I just stuck up my middle finger for both of them to see.
There was a small silence before the bed dipped and someone landed on me. I’m pretty sure it was Niall because Isabella sure doesn’t weigh a ton. “Niall get offffff!” I finally gave up trying to get this huge elephant off of me. I lay flat on the bed, the only air coming through to my nose.
I sighed in relief as I felt the pressure of Niall’s body off of me. “Oh thank god, I thought I was going to die!” The all laughed at me as I gained my breath back. Me and Harry sat up and faced both of them.
“So what you guys have planned?” The both looked at each other then back at us. “Nothing really. I have to meet with Ashlynn in about 2 hours because she needs help decorating her new place. “Oh I love Ash!! I clapped my hands together as I jumped on the bed with my legs still crisscrossed. “Tell her I miss her!” Isabella rolled her eyes but nodded, leaving the room.
I thought about what I could do today. Maybe I should hang out with my friends. I mean I haven’t seen them in a while so it would be good to catch up. “Hey Harry and Niall?” They both looked at me, willing to listen. “How about you guys have a guy day? You know just you and the boys hanging out?”
The both looked at each other before looking at me. Harry had spoken up his time. “What are you gonna do?” I hopped up from the bed and went over to the window, looking out.
“I was going to hang out with the girls today since I haven’t seen them in a while, ya know?” The both nodded. “Okay then it’s settled! Now Niall get out so I can get ready!” He looked at me sadly. “Awhh but I wanna see!” I giggled and pushed him out the room.
“I don’t think so lucky Irish boy.” He chuckled and went down the hallway. I turned around and faced Harry who had that smirk on his face again. “Sooo…” He started walking closer to me until we stood face to face. “It’s only the two of us…” He whispered, his eyes never leaving mine.
“You to Hazz” I whispered back in a seductive tone. He groaned and stepped around me. I turned round and grabbed his arm, pulling him back. “I love you” He smiled and pecked my lips.
“Love you to Jean” I smiled back and closed the door after him. Now just to text the girls to let them know it’s a girl’s day out!
