As we scurried into the car, Tully began talking about some plans she had made. "Now, we actually don't have a house yet, so the first thing we are going to do is search for a house. I would say we need a big one, so in the mean time, we are staying in a hotel", she smiles.
We met up with a realtor and she drove us around L.A, searching for the perfect home for us. The first house was too small, the second too big. But the third. The third was perfect.
"OMG! I looooove it!", Skylar squealed. I laughed and agreed with the happy girl.
Raya and Zeela were walking through the house with Tully and the realtor while me and Skylar were jumping around and saying how perfect it was.
Because it was perfect!





"We'll buy it!", Tully smiled as we all gathered around soon after.
Tully wasn't going to live with us, but I knew she would be at our house most of the time because this trip is about work work work. Tully is all about work.
"But wait, why are we buying a house if we are only going to be here for a couple of weeks?", Zeela asked. She was right. I never thought of that! In fact, why were we buying a house here in L.A?
"Well, we are planning further trips. You will need some place to stay when you are too big for the fame world to handle you", Tully joked. I rolled my eyes at her stupidity.
“Why wouldn’t we just rent one?”, I asked.
“Because I didn’t think of that!”, Tully whined, “Anyway, it’s too late now, we’ve bought it already”
We nod, knowing not to challenge her any further.
We decided to go out to lunch, Skylar had not once looked up from her phone, the entire drive to the restaurant. And I was getting suspicious of the giggling and blushing that came from her. I wasn’t going to ask her what it was or anything. It could just be some funny fans, we tend to have a lot of those. And I respect her privacy.
As we arrived at the restaurant, we walked in, found a seat. I was quite confused why we were but at a large table when there was only five of us. But I soon found out…
As we got comfortable, six figures walked towards us.
I looked up, to see the faces of One Direction and Marcus.
Okay, God is not on my side today. Wherever I go, they seem to follow. Or are they just stalking us?
It was an awkward greeting on my behalf, and I ended up moving down the other end of the table, finding myself in-between Louis and Zayn. I was happy about that. No more awkward Harry moments.
As it happens, I spoke to soon. Harry decided to sit right across from me. That’s even worse than next to me! I don’t hate the boy or anything, but he is just always around me and making me feel funny.
I kept my eyes on my entwined hands that rested on the table. I blinked a couple of times, trying to make myself less awkward and annoying, just as Louis started poking my arm every two seconds.
I looked up at the boy and he grinned happily, “Long time to seeeeee”, he said, with his eyes scrunched and a cheeky smile. I rolled my eyes playfully.
“Oh god”, I joke. Zayn and Louis laugh. I notice Harry in a deep conversation with Liam and Raya and Zeela staring at Harry, star struck.
I internally giggled at the girl, but then paid my attention to Zayn and Louis. “So, how did you know we were going to be here?”, I asked.
“Well, as it turns out Skylar and Niall have been texting each other ever since they got each other’s numbers before we got on the plane. He asked what she was doing today and she told him. Niall told Marcus and then Marcus called Tully and they arranged a lunch”, Zayn spoke. This is one of my first huge conversations with Zayn. He was quite quiet the first time we met, but still really nice.
“I didn’t know!”, I gasped.
“That’s because we knew you wouldn’t want to come!”, Skylar giggled. I blushed. I can’t believe she just said that out loud.
“You didn’t want to see us?”, Louis gasped, fake-hurt.
I blushed again, “No I did. I’m just kind of…awkward in these situations”, I say, looking at my hands again, wiggling awkwardly. I could feel Harry’s eyes on me again. I feel like I need to ask why he keeps staring at me.
“Oh we know”, Zayn said, laughing a little. Is it possible that I could blush anymore? Because I just did!
This situation is the worst.
“Anyway, I’m hungry”, I say.
“Me too!”, Niall shouted.
“Of course you are Niall”, Louis said, shaking his head. Niall blushed a shade of red too. Well, that makes two of us.
We ordered our food and everyone began engaging in a conversation between all of them. I just stayed quiet, knowing that if I said something, it would be the wrong thing to say. I just need to shove a sock in it and stay quiet.
They were talking about how the boys were recording a new album here and how the boys wanted to visit places that we wanted to visit. We must look like tourists, to anyone else in the restaurant.
As the conversation went on, the food was placed in front of us. I began silently eating my food. Louis began talking to Marcus and Tully. Niall began talking to Skylar (No surprise), Liam and Raya started talking and Zayn was chatting to Zeela. He was asking about her education and school and how she is doing it if she is half way across the world. Zeela, will have a tutor that stays at the house with her during the week and helps her do work and study for exams.
That left Harry and I. Harry was listening to Zeela and Zayn. So that just left me?
Well, I was being the awkward and boring person I am. Why am I like this? Why am I a social train wreck?!
But, I could still feel glances being thrown my way…
