Chapter 16
Sara's POV:
All the preparation in the world could not have readied me for this. There were so many of them. And the one that had leapt on me. Ripping the back of my shirt to shreds, and leaving deep scratches.
I was drifting in and out of consciousness. I was losing a lot of blood. I could hear the fight. The growling. I felt myself being lifted and carried away.
I was dizzy. And couldn't tell who or what had me. It wasnt a werewolf though.
Nialls POV:
"SARA!" I screamed into the forest. Where was she? The South Side Gang must've taken her. There was no other reason for their retreat. They had been winning.
If the South Side had their hands on her we were screwed. They could brainwash her. Control her mind to do evil. See in the mystical world, we were the good guys.
This of course didnt mean that we didnt screw around. Harry and Zayn especially. They sold what humans call drugs, only these were different.
Rainbow colored tablets made in the mystical world. They did things to you, but made you feel good. Highly addictive, and the government had been trying to track down the source of creating them for years.
Only affective on humans.
Me. I was never into that stuff. I got dragged into a lot of it because I hung around them. Life for us was dangerous enough has mystical creatures. It was hard to keep it secret.
I had to focus now. We had to find Sara. Before things took a turn for the worst.
Sara's POV;
Suddenly the thing slowed, and I heard a door swing open. My eyesight was blurred. I couldn't see my surrondings. I heard other voices that came to a stop when we grew closer.
"What is that?" Asked someone with a high pitched voice. "Human. Injured by werewolves." Replied a deep ish voice coming from the thing holding her.
"Is it dead?" Asked the high pitched voice. "Not yet. We need to help it." Replied the deep voice. I felt myself get set down on something soft.
I couldn't fight the urge to fall into darkness. I was too weak. I slipped from consciousness, unaware of who or what was helping me.
Im not sure how long I was out, but suddenly I got the feeling I was being watched. My eyes snapped open, and I saw a girl about 11 sitting on the floor looking at me.
She looked like a normal human at first. That's when I noticed her ears. Pointy. Could she be an elf? Like the one in the stories read to me when I was younger?
"A real human." She gasped, seeing I was awake. She was wearing clothes made from plants, just like the elves from the stories. I almost couldn't believe my eyes.
"Where am I?" I asked startled. My eyes searching the room for Niall, Liam, Louis, Harry, or Zayn. They were not any where in sight at least.
"You're safe. My brother found you in the midst of a fight. Rescued you. This is our house." She told me. She had a high pitched voice. The one I had heard before.
"Brother?" I asked. She nodded. "Hes off to the market now. Should be back soon. Are you a real human?" She asked. I nodded. I found it funny that she was as in awe of me as I was of her.
I tried to sit up, but winced and fell back. My back hurt too bad. "Your hurt. Lie still." The girl told me. "What's your name?" I asked curiously. "Ashna." She replied. "Im Sara." I told her with a grin.
She giggled. "What?" I asked, laughing at her giggle. "You have a funny name." She said in between giggles. I smiled at her. It was so weird to have someone think Sara was unusual.
Zayns POV:
"Thats it Im tracking her!" I exclaimed, and half transformed. I soon caught her scent. We were off. It wasnt long until I found us coming upon a village.
