Mysterious
Chapter 14
Liam's POV:
We were going to teach Sarah how to use her powers. It would be nice knowing she could protect herself. However it was like learning to ride a bike. It would take time to get them down so she could use them to her advantage.
We were going to take her back to our house. The basement was set up for training. For some skills like underwater stuff and flying, we would have to go elsewhere.
I didnt know how he would react seeing her house. She might even see her family. I knew it would be hard for her when they didnt recognize us. We were all she had anymore.
Sarahs POV:
They told me I could fly, but still had me ride on Nialls back. I was confused. Why couldn't I just fly myself. Oh well. Soon maybe I could fly wherever I wanted. Maybe I would even have the power to being back my moms memory of me.
Suddenly the dropped from the sky, and my heart stopped. We were in the neighborhood of my house. My mothers car was parked outside. She was home.
I wanted to jump off Niall, run inside, and hug her. I couldn't too that. She would probably call the police. I looked at the ground, as Niall carried me piggy back style into their house.
We immediatly went down steps to their basement. I saw small obstacles set up. Probably to help me with my powers. I was excited.
"First. You can teleport things with your mind." Said Niall, placing me on the ground. I shot him an "are you messing with me" look that made him laugh.
"How do you know all this?" I asked. "We guessed, and figured we would discover your powers as we went along." Answered Zayn. "So you have no idea if I can actually do this stuff?" I asked.
"Nope. Just a guess." Replied Liam. I sighed. Niall place a plastic cup about 2 feet away from me. "Now concentrate. Vampires and Mystics can do this. All you need to do is will it to move."
I stared at the cup. I blocked out everything else in the room. I scrunched up my face. Up! I thought hard. To my suprise, the cup shot into the air, slamming against the celing. Whoops. A little too hard maybe.
The boys were all grinning at me. Guess I could move stuff with my mind...maybe a bit more practice though. "Don't worry soon youll be able to do this." Said Niall. Suddenly I was in the air.
"Whoa! Put me down!" I ordered, looking dead into his eyes. To my shock, he gave a stunned look, and I was lowered to the ground. I broke eye contact, and he shook his head as though to clear it.
"Did I just control you?" I asked shocked. "I think you did." Said Liam, a mixture of shock and admiration on his face. This would be fun.
"What do you want to try next?" Asked Zayn. "Flying." I replied quickly. They looked wary. "I don't know. Flying is difficult and will take awhile to learn." Said Liam. "Lets gets started then." I replied.
They sighed, and Niall motioned for me to hop on. We sped off, and I soon found us in a huge open field. "Ok at first you will need to take a running start, but soon you should be able to just jump up." Said Liam.
They all seemed nervous. Not me. I was pumped! I nodded. "Just run forward, jump into the wind, and command your mind to fly." Said Niall.
I nodded, and faced away from them. I took a deep breath, and charged off. After I had run a bit, I heard Niall yell,"jump!" I willed my mind, and leapt up into the air.
