The Moring After… Sorta
I woke up to find the bed empty again. Well what really woke me was my growling stomach and the smell of eggs filling the apartment. I knew if I even tried to sit up I would regret it so I resolved just to stay in bed. That lasted about three seconds till I reluctantly opened my eyes to find Liam kneeling next to the bed holding a cup of water and 2 aspirins. I mouthed thank you and gingerly got up to assess the damage. To my surprise I only had a mild head ache, but I still took the aspirin nonetheless.
I walked into the kitchen where the boys were all talking softly and nibbling on their food. Niall and Louis had put their heads down on the island to block out the sun. Zayn hadn’t even got up yet by the looks of it. Alex was undoubtedly on her second coffee if not her third. She looks over at me and said “look who finally decided to get up.
“Hey I’m surprised you’re even up.” I said grabbing a plate out of the cabinet.
“I wouldn’t have if I hadn’t smelled the-”
“Eggs” we both said together then laughed. Harry handed me a plateful of mouthwatering eggs. I'm so distracted by the eggs I don’t even try to think about what last night was about.
“Hey shouldn’t the girls be cooking for us- OW!” Harry yelled after Alex kicked him.
“Well that’s what you get for being a misogynistic bitch.” She said between shoveling eggs into her mouth.
“Yah cuz your soooooo lady like.” Niall said handing her a napkin in passing on his way to get seconds.
“Guys come on be nice.” Louis whined then giving Alex a smile. “God Louis just ask her out already.” Niall said back
“What ask her… what I no... I um…” he said muttering into his eggs, turning bright red. Alex raised her eye brows over her coffee and meowed quietly which she did when she was uncomfortable of embarrassed then took a slow sip of her coffee.
“So what are we doing today ladies?” Harry said putting the dirty pan in the sink.
“Well we are going home to go start getting ready for the party tonight. I desperately need a shower-”
“I was about to hop in if you want to join me love?” Zayn said with a wink leaning on his door frame.
“Thanks for the offer but no thanks.” I said and stole a glance at Harry. He was looking a Zayn a weird way, a way I never seen him look before. Was that a flicker of jealousy?
“Well we really gotta go soo-” Alex said opening the door but was stopped when Harry said “and how do you suppose you’re getting home? Your houses aren’t in walking distance and we drove you here so I doubt you have cab fare.”
“Don’t look so smug and just drive Harold.” Alex said heading out.
“BYE EVERYONE!” I yelled exiting the apartment. Harry stepped out and shrugged off his coat and led us out of his building around back to his car. Alex looked over at me and motioned to the two of us and mouthed “you guys okay?” I simply shrugged and mouthed back “I have no idea.” And rolled my eyes.
“So who’s first?” he said opening my door for me. What is with him this morning?
“Me I'm closest.” She said hopping in the back. She gave me a look and mouthed “you 2 need to talk.” And sat back and played on her phone. So we dropped Alex off and she gave me another look to say “talk to him.” And waved us off. We pulled away and were driving for a little before I asked “how did I get into your bed?”
“Well you fell asleep- or shall I say passed out on the floor, so tucked you into bed.”
“Did you sleep in the same bed as me?” and as I asked his hands gripped the wheel a little tighter.
“Yes I did.” “Did we.. Did we do anything?” the thought hadn’t even occurred to me until I had already said it.
“God, no!” He must’ve been able to tell that that hurt my feelings. “No not because I didn’t want to. But because you were drunk and I would never take advantage of you like that.” He said as he pulled in to my drive way.
“Oh well thanks then.” I said opening the door and pulling myself up out of his car.
“Jazz wa-”
“Did you ever figure out how you going to disguise yourself for the party?”
“Yeah we got it covered we’ll see you at 6:30. He said shutting my door and rolling the window down.
“But the party doesn’t start till 7!”
“We know.” And with hat he pulled out of my drive way and drove away.
