The End Or Just A New Begining?
As soon as I left Zayn at the park I called Rylan and Alex and said they needed to meet me immediately. I shut my phone off again because Harry was calling off the hook. I pulled into the frozen yogurt place we said we would meet at and waited for the girls. As soon as they pulled in they rushed over to me.
“Okay what’s the 911 for?” Rylan said sitting down next to me.
“I’m going to break up with Harry.” Both their jaws dropped. After a few seconds Alex let out a sigh of relief and said “oh thank god finally.”
“Wait what?”
“Jazz we all have seen how bad the relationship with you two has gotten. The boys tried to talk to him but he denied anything was wrong. I honestly think he thinks you’re happy. But I know you. I know you re miserable and depressed. I wanted to say something but let’s be honest; if I had you would have stayed with him to prove me wrong. You had to figure this out for yourself.” I nodded and we sat in silence for a few minutes.
“So when are you going to do it?”
“Today. I need to do it today.”

“Jazz? Is that you?” Harry yelled as I walked into the apartment.
“Yeah.” He came storming in.
“Where have you been?! I’ve been worried sick! Why was your phone off?”
“I was out Harry sit down I need to talk to you.” He sat down next to me. “what’s wrong Jazz you’re scaring me?”
“Harry, we need to break up. Before you say anything please hear me out.” I said as he went to interrupt me. “I’m not happy; I haven’t been in a while. And all we do is fight and you scare me lately. It’s like we can’t do things alone we are never separated at all. I can’t handle this relationship anymore and I'm so sorry but I cant. We need to break up.” I looked up at him and he looked absolutely crushed. We both had tears going down our faces as he looked up and asked “Do you still love me?” I sucked in a breath and sobbed out a choked “No.” he nodded and got up wiping his face.
“alright. I’ll move out, move in with Louis or Niall.”
“That’s very sweet but I couldn’t stay here. To many memories.”
“Same for me. I’ll just sell the place. Are you leaving tonight?”
“Yah.” I said looking down at my hands.
“I’ll give you your space to pack.” He said and left without another word.
That was the last time we spoke for a while. Its June again, I just graduated, spent my senior year focusing on my studies, made presidents list all year. I’ve been living with Alex and her family. I managed to get a full ride to my first choice college, I move in in August.
Me and Harry didn’t talk for a few months, when he came back around Christmas we caught up and have talked on and off here and there while they have been on tour. They just got home again. I’ve kept pretty good relationships with the rest of the boys, especially Zayn. After the break-up he was a huge support system. I spent the last 10 months working on who I am and what I want in life and I finally got it figured out.
I turned the corner and walked up his walk way and buzzed for him to let me in. I knocked on the apartment door and waited for him to answer.
“Jazz? What’s going on?”
“I spent the last year trying to figure out what I wanted and what we we’re going to be and I finally figured it out Zayn. I want you, I want us. I’ve put this off way to long and I understand if you don’t feel the same way anymore I mean it’s been a year but I just had to tell-” I was cut off by him kissing me. He pulled away and said “I’ve been waiting years to hear you say this. I never stopped loving you.”
“I love you too. I'm sorry it took so long to say.”
“It doesn’t matter; you’re saying it now, that’s all that matters.” I smiled and he whispered
“Finally, a smile that reaches your eyes.”
