Little Things

Everything was amazing, everything was rainbows and sunshine and everything was just simply amazing. He was everything I wanted and waited for and it really was worth the wait. Of course I can say that now that I'm happily with him seeing as a few weeks ago I was ready to give up on him for good. But now I'm completely over the moon. I was so overly joyed that one morning I was just being happy and giddy and stupid when a friend of mine said “Jazz its WAAYYY too early for you to be this happy… stop it stop it right now.”

For some reason these first two weeks of us dating seem to be really long. It was like we have been dating for years and not just a couple weeks. And I couldn’t be happier.

And then suddenly it was Valentine’s Day. I was so excited to give Harry his gift. I got him and I matching dog tags. On his it has a half a heart and my name and on my half it had the other half of the heart and his name.

After volunteering at the day care at school with Alex (like every morning) I headed to the cafeteria to see harry and give him his present. I wanted to give it to him in the morning because I was already wearing my have and I didn’t want to risk him seeing it beforehand. I couldn’t wait to see the look on his face.

Usually when I get to the cafeteria in the morning I have to wait a good 5-10 minutes before Harry usually arrives. But this morning I strolled in and there he was eating a granola bar. He looked up and saw me and smiled dropping some of the granola out of his mouth. I chuckled and made my way over to him. I slid in my seat and pulled his gift from my pocket. I had wrapped it up like a package with brown paper and string. He smiled down at it and said

“You don’t have to give it to me now.” He said already pulling the bow on the string

“I want to.” I said smiling. I slowly pulled my half out from under my jacket as he slid the necklace out of the wrapping. “So you can have a piece of my heart wherever you go.”

“Jazz its beautiful I love it thank you so much.” He pulled the necklace over his head. He pulled me into a tight hug which ended in a cute kiss. I sat back and tried to look like I wasn’t expecting my gift. He saw right through me and said “Oh you’re not getting yours yet. You’ll get it at dinner tonight.” He smirked down at me as he stood up.

“What Why?!”

“Just because.” He took my hand and led me out of the cafeteria

“I would’ve waited if I had known that!” I whined

“I know.”

LINE BREAK

I was sitting History trying to focus on what Miss Bee was attempting to teach us when student council strolled in delivering Flower Grams. Every holiday they do a fundraiser where you can buy things like candy grams and such and send them to your friends but only on Valentine’s Day they sell carnations. Now one of the girls on student council had let it slip that Harry already bought me one so I sat up in my seat and awaited my flower. When one of the boys came over to hand out my flower he pulled out a whole bouquet! I was so surprised my jaw literally dropped. I felt someone’s eyes on me and I looked up and saw harry in the doorway and he had the biggest smile on his face. He blew me a kiss and turned and left with the rest of the group. I spelt the whole smelling them trying to memorize exactly how I felt today.

Me and harry were going to go to dinner right after drama. He wanted me to skip drama so we could go to this fancy restaurant and have a night on the town but I declined. I knew we shouldn’t be going out in public especially on Valentine’s Day seeing as I was still a secret from the fans (upon acceptance to our school you sign a privacy contract and are not allowed to release and thing to the public that the managers of whichever celebrity haven’t cleared.) so we are very discreetly going to the little pizza parlor down the street from school.

So after drama we walked to the pizza place. As we were walking Harry “dropped” something and before I had a chance to turn around and see what he put his arms around me and opened a box with a heart shaped necklace inside and whispered in my ear “Happy Valentine’s Day, babe”

“Harry! It’s gorgeous!” I said taking the box from his hand. He wrapped his arms around my waist. The necklace was a little heart that looked like the front side had been dipped in diamonds on a simple silver chain.

“I’m glad you like it, love.” He took my hand and we walked to the pizza parlor.

Once inside he helped me put the necklace on. He got pizza and I just got a large fry to share. We did the cute couple thing where we both eat the end of the fry until we inevitably kiss. It was the best I could have asked for.
