Homecoming... Part 1
Rebeccas POV:
Alright tonight was homecoming! And I was going with Shane... Well lets just say that Ethan wasn't so happy when he found out.
Brigid came over to my house to get ready. We did our make up, hair, and finally put on the dresses!

When we finished admiring ourselves in the mirror, we went downstairs and waited for Shane and Cameron to get here.
While Brigid and Beth started some conversation about something I don't really care about, I started to space out. I thought about what Harry was doing right now and if it was smart of me to let him go. Is he dating again? I bet he is. I bet he couldn't wait to get me out of his life. I bet he's happier then ever. Just then, the doorbell rang and snapped me out of my day dream.
Beth hurried to the door and there stood Shane and Cameron. Yay.
"Alright!! Pictures!!" Beth said. Wow, she is acting like my mom.
Beth took our pictures while Ethan and Jack sat on the couch staring at us with disappointment.
We said our goodbyes and walked to the car.
"You look beautiful." Shane whispered in my ear.
"Oh, thanks.'' I said not even turning to face him. All I could think about was Harry. I missed him. I wanted to see him everyday like we used to. I feel like an idiot for going to homecoming with Shane. I don't even like him... but should I?
I was interrupted by the car stopping. We all got out of the car, Shane grabbed my hand and I pulled away at first but then gripped his.
After about an hour of awful dancing they said they were going to announce the king and queen. We all sat down at our table and wrote whose ever name we wanted to win and then put it in the ballot box.
They said that they were going to count the votes so in the meantime we should dance to a couple more songs.
The song 'Royals' by Lorde came on and I grabbed Brigid and ran to the dance floor.
"I cut my teeth on wedding rings... in the movies!" Brigid and I screamed.
"You're adorable when you sing.'' I heard Shanes voice in my ear and I turned around and straddled him as he grabbed my waist and pulled me close.
We stayed like that for the rest of the song when the princeble came out onto the stage.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the time you have been waiting for! Your 2013 King and Queen are... oh my my!! We have a tie! for the first time in our schools history! A tie! Well then... Your Kings and Queens are... Cameron Colt and Brigid Taylor! And Shane Olson and Rebecca Smith!" What?! Me and Brigid weren't even nominated how could this happen?!?! I looked at Brigid and she looked at me and shrugged her shoulders.
"Should we go get our crown my queen?" Shane asked me and I nodded.
When we got on stage everyone cheered. It was actually a pretty good feeling!
"Quiet please everyone!" The princeble began, oh great now what? "Time for the kings and queens first dance! We have very VERY special guests to sing them a song!" Oh no... it can be! "Everyone please welcome One Direction!!" the whole crowd screamed as my heart sunk.
Then I see Harry walk on stage looking fucking sexy as ever! I turn to Brigid her expression is blank.
What. The. Fuck. Just. Happened.
