Liam's Girl
Chapter Two
-Skyler-
Katie, my little sister, and Becca, her friend raced into my room at 3:00 am - two hours before we were supposed to, because they couldn't sleep. I was beyond pissed. I told them to piss of and watch a movie or something. Bad idea. The sounds of One Direction thundered through the empty house. I would not be sleeping anytime soon.
Two hours later and without a wink of sleep, I had to wake Katie and Becca up to drive to the airport. Constantly under siege with pleads for ice cream and McDonalds, it was a long drive. They didn't understand that the valet driver wan't being payed to chauffer them to the nearest fast food joint at any given moment. Plus, we were on a scheduel.
Getting onto the plane was the worst. Turns out we arrived an hour earlier than I had planned, so we spent it sitting at the gate, waiting and waiting. When we finally got on the plane, the girls fell asleep the second their asses touched their seats. I took a picture to send to my mom. I tried to sleep, but it wasn't comfortable because I had nothing to lean on except for the old man next to me. Seriously?
Turns out I had fallen asleep because I woke up with the jolt of the plane as it touched down. I had been to New York once or twice when I was younger, but I like LA much better. Here, even breathing the air was disgusting.
I decided just to take the girls straight to the hotel to sleep off the jet-lag. This was sweet. I got my own room with an actual bed. No old man to lean on or little sister and co. to blast disgustingly upbeat music at me. Just sleep
