Liam's Girl
Chapter Ten
-Liam-
After the show, she was waiting for me backstage, leaning against the wall. As the other boys walked past us to the dressing room, I hung back and took her hand.
She told me good job, but she had a fake smile on her face. Not the dimples-popped, teeth-showing kind of smile.
"What's wrong?" I asked her, putting my hand on the wall above her head, leaning closer towards her.
She looked away for a second, thinking. Her arms were crossed. She sighed. "I just wanted to make sure that this isn't a fling." My heart felt as if it had broken.
-Skyler-
As I looked up at him, he looked concerned, and relieved at the same time. "Of course not." he said. "Skyler, I really like you. I want you to know that." I felt a bit better. He studied my fingers that were intertwined with his for a second before looking back up at me. "This is definitely not a fling." he whispered, and I felt a small smile return to my lips.
He pressed me against the wall, hands on either side of me. I was trapped, but it was a good kind of trapped. I liked being trapped with him. He rested his forehead against mine.
-Liam-
I gave her a small kiss on the nose. I wanted her to know more than anything that this was something special. I could feel it. I hope she thought that too. Her lips split into a smile. I mirrored her. When she was happy, I was happy.
-Skyler-
When he leaned in, it was gentle, careful. His body was surrounding me, warming me, protecting me. The feeling of his lip between mine was a drug to me. My mind went dizzy when he lightly bit my bottom lip. His tongue ran over my bottom lip, asking for entrance, which I granted gladly. I felt his breathing become heavier, and when I wrapped my arms around his neck, I could feel his heart racing. I loved feeling what I was doing to him.
I had a feeling that this was going to be different.
