Two years ago;
I laughed as Liam and Niall fought over a piece of the birthday cake my mother had brought in for my sixteenth birthday. “Get off, mate.” Liam warned my older brother, Niall.
“Not a chance.” Niall laughed swatting at Liam to get the piece from him.
I smirked walking up to Liam and leaning over taking the plate from him. I laughed getting a bite of the cake as my best friend; Sara took a bite off of it as well. “In your face, men.” She laughed.
I giggled as I took another bite to see Liam frowning as I smirked. I took a bite off the piece of cake and gave him the spoon as he ate it smiling, “Thank you love.” He smiled at me.
I nodded, “You’re welcome.” I smiled kissing his lips lightly.
Liam slipped his arms around my waist as I smiled. I heard Sara and Zayn walk out of the room along with Niall. I giggled holding to Liam as he scooped me up taking me outside. We sat down at the pool as he kept me close to him.
“Are you having a good birthday, love?” Liam asked smiling at me.
I nodded my head smiling at him, “I am.” I replied.
“Good.” Liam smiled at me as he leant over and kissed my lips deeply as I smirked underneath the kiss.
Liam pulled back and smiled brightly at me. I returned the smile as I held onto him. We sat by the pool just enjoying one another…
“Flight 107 is now landing. Thank you for flying British Airways.” The flight attendant announced as the plane landed.
I took my seatbelt off as I got up and grabbed my overhead luggage. I held it in my hand following the rest of the people getting off of the plane. I walked into the airport and grabbed my bags as I smiled seeing my father, and mum. I smiled walking towards them as I hugged the two of them tightly, “Oh sweetie.” Mum cried out holding onto him.
“Hi mum.” I smiled at her.
I smiled leaving the airport with the two. My parents had sent me to stay with some family in California when my heart was broken by Liam. Now that I was back, I was hoping I could get used to being near him. For the sake of my older brother.
