Kimora's POV

I ran upstairs to my room to take a quick shower & get dressed. I decided not to dress to cute, so Dale wouldn't think I out time into getting ready to see him.

I grabbed my phone & headed outside to start walking to the park. I text Dale:

Me: Currently walking to the park !
Dale: Already beat you there :p

Ugh. why is he so cute through a text?!

I arrived at the park about 10 minutes later, I saw him from a distance, he hadn't noticed me yet. He was sitting on a bench staring down at his phone. I began to get a little nervous. Why am I here? Why am I even getting myself into this situation? What if Harry drove by and seen me with him? What if the paps popped up & snapped picture of us.

Ugh Kimora calm down it's not like your cheating. Wait. this isn't cheating right?


I thought about turning around and going home but it was too late.

"Kimora!" Dale said while standing up to approach me. He greeted me with a hug. probably tighter then it should have been.

"Hey." I said once he pulled away. I noticed him staring down at me. "What?"

"Your really short."

I laughed while slapping him on the arm.

"It's nice to see you again." He said softly.

I nodded my head before walking around him to sit at a picnic table. He followed behind me sitting next to me with his legs on both side of the bench.


At first it was a little awkward but after awhile we were talking like we've known each other for years.

He makes me laugh. Alot.

I often found myself getting lose in his eyes. They were this ocean blue. They were beautiful He was beautiful.

"Kimora?" I heard him say my name breaking my daze. "Sorry." I said blushing.

"Can I be honest with you?" he asked me.
I nodded my head no sure what he was gonna say.

"Your one of the most beautiful-est sweetest, funniest, most down to earth girls I've ever met." he said scooting closer to me.

I can honestly say I've never blushed this hard in my 19 years of life. I looked down at my hands so that I wouldn't have to make eye contact with him.

"Wow, thanks."

Dale's POV

"Your one of the most beautiful-est sweetest, funniest, most down to earth girls I've ever met." I said to her while moving a little closer.

Her face immediately turned bright red. She looked down fumbling with her hands. She mumble out "Wow, thanks."

It's so hard for me to read this girl. I don't know if she's just being shy or if she just doesn't feel the same way about me. Maybe I should just come right out & say it. Kimora I like you.

"What?" Her head shot up at me.

Wait, dd i just say that out loud?

"Um. Yeah."

Shit!

"Um, I like you." This time i was the one blushing.

She smiled but it quickly faded. I didn't give her a chance to respond. I crashed my lips into hers without even thinking about what I was doing. She pulled away just as quick as it happened. A frown crept up on her face.

Great, she DOESN'T feel the same way.

"I'm really sorry Dale." she said while rising to her feet.

Sorry you broke my heart, ah no big deal.

"Sorry for what?" is what I really said.

"I kinda.... well I have a boyfriend."

Boyfriend? Wait so the girl I've been texting, the girl I've been flirting with has a boyfriend.

Kimora's POV

Hurt & confusion washed across his face as I finally revealed the truth. I couldn't let the same thing that I did to Justin reoccur with Harry

Dale is a great guy and I have a connection with him sure but I've been through too much with Harry to throw it all away.

He was now standing as well, with his hands in his pockets staring at the ground.

Ugh I'm such a heart breaker.

"I'm sorry Dale, I just want to be friends." he sighed.

"Yea. Sure friends."

We decided to walk the the coffee shop. The tension between us was so thick you could cut it with a knife.

Dale's POV

We basically walked to the coffee shop in complete silence. I have to admit, I was awfully disappointed that she's already taken. It's not like I'm madly in love with her or anything, we've only known each other for a week. But I definitely had a thing for her. I knew the moment i walked into Ann's Cafe and saw her for the first time that I had to have her. But somebody already has her. Boy was this guy lucky. Whoever he is.

I realized that Kimora was no longer by my side, i looked back to see her frozen staring in the window of a pizza spot. I walked back to her.

"Hey, what are you doing?" i asked but received no reply.

She was staring at this couple. Her eyes were watery.

"Kimora, what's wrong?" I asked rubbing her back.

Tears rolled down her face. She turned around a ran down the street.

What's happening? She just bursted out in tears.
