Frenemies for Hearts

-Daisy-

Going to an award ceremony such as the VMA's was a dream. I saw hundreds of fans and paparazzi as Niall walked me down the red carpet.

I was wearing a white silk gown that the boy's stylist had picked out to match all of their outfits, which were white shirts under gray and black jackets with matching pants.

My heels were challenging on the carpet, but I was getting used to it. It was worth it, after all.

I saw all of my favorite stars. Comedians like Carly Aquilino, Nicole Byer, and Andrew Schulz, and Pop Stars like Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, and many more. They all seemed to know me, which was unreal.

During the past few weeks, I had seen myself on several magazines with headlines such as "Niall Horan's New Girlfriend?" or, my personal favorite, "One Direction Scandal: Niall's Affair with Mysterious Hottie!" But everyone at the VMA's knew more than just my relationship with One Direction. They knew my name, and that I had been friends with Niall since forever.

-Louis-

We would not let Daisy know about all of the Drama that was happening backstage before we accepted our awards. She must have noticed that people were booing, but I knew that she was so excited to be here, and we wouldn't let some minor insult dampen her mood.

-Liam-

"Best Song of the Summer." Wow. This was amazing. I know that we had already won lots of other awards, but every time we accepted another beautiful trophy, it was as if my chest was inflated a little more. I was so proud of everything we had accomplished. I thank myself every day for not being good enough to make it through my first time on the X factor.

-Zayn-

I had known for a long time that I had liked her. She was all I could think about, wherever I was. As we said our thank you's for the award onstage, I felt an impulse. At the end of my thank you, I added, "and thank you to the lovely Daisy Fay. We honestly would never have as much fun without you and we all love you so much."

-Daisy-

My heart was swelling. I couldn't believe he had said that in front of all these important, famous. All of the boys shouted to me and blew me a kiss. I waved, trying to contain my tears. I was sitting next to Andrew Schulz, and he put an arm around me when they got off stage and i finally let myself cry.

-Zayn-

I had gone this far, I wasn't going to stop here. I needed to tell her how I felt about her. Should I tell Niall first? No. Would he be mad? Maybe, but he would get over it. What if she rejected me? A thousand thoughts were racing through my mind.

All of us were lying on the huge, white couch that was on our balcony, drinking champagne. I hated champagne, I much preferred a beer, but this was all right.

What will her face look like when I tell her? How will she feel? Will she be uncomfortable? I imagined her face when she was nervous: biting her lip and looking down, twisting her fingers with her eyebrows slightly furrowed.

"I think I'm gonna go in." Harry said. "yeah same" said Liam, stifling a yawn. Louis tagged along with them. "Goodnight." Niall said to Daisy, and gave her a huge kiss on the forehead. She smiled. I had that same hot feeling in my stomach. Jealousy, I realized.

"Well I guess I'll go too since everyone has left." Harry said obnoxiously. He leaned down and pecked her on the cheek. That was unacceptable. He would not touch her like that or ever go near her once we were together. If she said yes.

"Okay, so I guess I'll go in now to then." she said, laughing. It was now or never for us
