The party was loads of fun. It was especially interesting watching Daisy interact with all of the famous people. She looked amazed the whole time, and if she were in a dream, and I knew she was.

When we went over to say hello to Katy, they instantly hit it off. Katy went around and introduced her to all the other guests that Daisy wanted to meet.

Daisy had such an adorable gleam in her eye. I could tell that she was truly excited to be here, and overwhelmed at the presence of so many famous people.

It was intriguing watching how Zayn held on to her, sometimes with his arm around her waist and sometimes linking arms with her. Harry was surprisingly arrogant, even though he had gotten his arse whooped. I noticed how he now stared at her in a flirtatious, almost hungry way, even when she wasn't looking.Thank god Zayn didn't notice.

But it was making her uncomfortable. Extremely uncomfortable. I pulled him aside. "Why don't you knock it off ok?"

"What?" he said in a mockingly ignorant voice. It just made me angry.

"You know what you're doing." He raised an eyebrow.

I sighed, "Listen, do you want to get your arse kicked by Zayn again? Is that what you want?"

"I did not get my arse kicked." Harry retorted, looking away. He knew that he had.

"Yes you did, and you're going to again if you don't cut the bullshit." Sometimes I felt as if I were the wet towel on the occasion. I was too careful, too fatherly, not enough fun.

"Whatever." he strolled away. I was so mad. I don't know why either. Usually I'm a very easy-going laid-back person, but Harry just made me snap.

I watched the stern talk between Liam and Harry with a smirk on my face. I knew that Harry didn't like being told what to do, and Liam knew that too. Liam was clearly reprimanding him. Harry pushed away and Liam looked furious. They must have been talking about something serious. I approached Liam. "What's up?" I asked, careful. Usually when he was in this mood, which was not often, he could explode in a second.He told me about how stupid Harry was being. I kind of agreed with him, although I knew that Harry liked Daisy too. A lot.

He had told me all about it after the fight. The worst part of it was that he sounded like he was in love with her, but he had never experienced love for himself, so he didn't know it. He loved her and neither of them knew it. And he couldn't have her. That was the problem. I wanted both of them to be able to have her because they are my best friends, what can I say? But that's impossible, and it's her decision, so someone's going to get hurt.

The problem now was that there was so much competition, and now they basically hated each other.

Everything was going well until Harry dropped that fateful wink.
