Later that night, I woke up. The clock read 2:34 am. The same nagging feeling of hatred for myself kept nipping at my thoughts. I wasn't going to get much more sleep that night.

I tip toed down the hall to Zayn's room. I just wanted to see him without the hurting feeling on his face. I wanted to watch him sleeping, peaceful, his breathing and heartbeat steady, without worries of a cheating girl. I crept in. "Zayn?" I whispered, barely a breath, checking if he was awake. To my suprise, he quickly sat up, supporting himself on his elbows.

Suddenly, I felt very naked in my tank top and sleeping shorts, which were almost too short to be considered shorts. My outfit became more of an issue for me as his eyes grazed me up and down. His mouth was a straight line.

Zayn lay down again, still facing me. I tentatively crept toward him until I was standing next to the edge of his bed. He was so beautiful. I hated myself even more.

-Zayn-

Daisy was so gorgeous in the moonlight trickling through my windows, igniting her features with a ghostly illumination. My burning hatred for Harry heightened as I took in her appearance from her fawn's eyes to her hands twisting together.

I patted the edge of the bed next to where I was lying down. She seemed almost nervous as she perched on the ledge, never taking her eyes off of me. It felt as if she was watching a ticking bomb, waiting for it to explode.

I continued to try and memorize every line of her body. The waves of her hair, the curve of her back in her relaxed posture, to the curve of her lips. Suddenly I felt hungry for her.

"Zayn I-" she started, but faded away. She was, actually, really nervous. Without thinking, I let out a single, breathy chuckle, and felt my mouth form into a smirk.

-Daisy-

Was he mocking me? He was supposed to be mad at me. "Zayn, he attacked me, he was drunk!" I managed. My words were harsh and desperate sounding. This was embarrassing, but he needed to understand why I had betrayed him. He wore his irresistible smirk on his face. What was he doing? "Zayn, you don't understand!"

"Sshhhh" he told me, taking my hand. I couldn't meet his gaze. "Daisy, it's okay." I couldn't help but noticing the suppressed laughter in his voice. "I know it's not your fault." What?

"What?" He knew? Then how did he feel about all of this? So he didn't even care?

"I said," He wrapped his arms around me. "I know it's not your fault." He pulled me close.

-Zayn-

She looked confused, embarrassed, adorable. "I know Harry was on you. I know you wouldn't do something like that, especially to me." I whispered into her ear. She smelled like roses.

I rested my chin on her shoulder. "How do you know?" she asked in a small voice.

I sighed. "You know, Harry's been after you for quite some time." She blushed. My anger heightened even further.

"No." She whispered, looking down at her folded hands.

"Yes," I responded, and decided to be flirty, "It's not surprising either." she let out a small giggle, barely audible over the beats of our hearts.

"But I know I don't have to worry about you, because you're mine." I added. It sounded stupid when I said it. It had sounded flirtatious and masculine in my head, but when I said it it was like something out of a sappy romance novel.

At this she finally turned to face me behind her. "I'm yours." She was smiling. My heart swelled. Hearing this girl tell me that she was mine was a feeling beyond any description. I could feel myself smiling.

He gave me the most meaningful, tiny kiss on the nose. Just a soft brush, but with the greatest affection.

I completely and utterly loved this boy, and I knew that there was no going back.
