Summary

When our gaze had lasted just a second too long, I broke it, looking down at my folded hands in my lap. He put his fingers under my chin, gently pulling my face back up to face his. I was shocked when I saw that he had shifted closer than ever before.

He smiled, his eyes flicking from my eyes to my lips, and I knew what he wanted. His other hand crept behind me, taking hold of my hip, fingers wrapping around and brushing my lower back. He pulled me into him.

I held my breath.

And then he leaned in.

I savored the feel of his lips on mine, soft and gentle. He treated me like I was a delicate flower, and he didn't want to rumple the petals. I found my hands wrapped around him, one around his shoulder, and one twisting my fingers into his hair.

His warm tongue crept into my mouth. Mine answered. He became more enthusiastic at my response. His fingers traced up and down the bottom part of my spine, causing me to shiver. His other hand ran through my hair. I loved this. This was amazing. He was an incredible kisser. I had to feel what I was doing to him. I placed my flattened palm against his chest. His pulse was racing under my fingers.

I smiled into the kiss. He gently bit my lower lip. I melted. I kept trying to get closer and closer to him. All the sudden, I wanted to see his face. His beautiful face.

My hand over his heart pushed him away. He resisted. When I finally managed to push him back, his eyes fluttered open and he was biting his lip with raised eyebrows. He thought I was rejecting him. I smiled at him again. He did the same and leaned in again, pulling me in more forcefully this time, yet still careful.

What a beautiful moment, with a beautiful boy.
