One Direction Grown Ups
Chapter 8- Lake Day
Danielle's POV
I woke up around seven and decided to let Niall sleep a bit more. He looked so adorable while he slept. I opened up the door and suddenly I was soaked. With freezing cold mucky water. I let out a scream, and suddenly Perrie, and Dani were out and soaked too. Letting out similar screams. Casey and Eleanor walked out but they didn't get soaked. "BOYS!!!!!!!!!" Perrie, Dani, and I screamed and ran downstairs only to see two coffee mugs left out on the table. I investigated and looked at the front. Louis' and Harry's shoes are gone. "Girls, I know who did this" I said.
"who?" Perrie asked.
"Louis and Harry"
"of course" Dani said
"we need to get back at them" I said.
"we're in" Eleanor said. Casey nodded in agreement. The thing was we all had ideas on how to get them back we just didn't know how. We figured the prank was for our husbands. But lets face it, they won't be up for another hour. We decided to have coffee first of all. Frankly I can't focus without having a cup.
Louis' POV
as soon as we heard the enraged screams we raced out the door as fast as we could. We took my car and raced into town. We did not want to deal with angry women. "Louis do you think we'll be able to go back any time soon?" Harry asked
"I'm not sure man, we should probably wait a while before going back. Maybe they will cool down a bit when we get back." I said driving down Main Street.
"I think we cooled them down with that lake water" Harry said and we both just bursted out laughing.
"could you just imagine the look on their faces!?" I said coming to a red light.
after a few hours we decided we should go back to the cabin. We crept in the front door nd slowly shut the front door. We crept into the living room and saw the lads, and the ladies sitting on the couch. I decided to play it cool. I nodded to Harry and we both walked in casually. "Morning ladies, gents" I said coming in and making some food.
"where were u guys?" Perrie asked eyeing us. Shit. We are in trouble.
"out" Harry said taking a bite out of his toast. Danielle was giving us a death glare.
"say why don't we go out on the lake today. We can rent a boat and spend the day outside!" I said trying to distract the ladies.
"I like that idea" Eleanor said coming up and hugging me. "By the way they have a plan to get back at you and Harry" Eleanor whispered while hugging me from behind. The ladies went upstairs to get the kids and Harry and I sat on the couch with the boys.
"nice prank boys, too bad it back fired on you!" Niall said laughing his ass off. We all bursted out laughing when the ladies and the kids came back downstairs. We all packed up and headed off to the docks to rent a boat.
we were out in the middle of the lake. All the boys except Zayn were in the lake helping the kids swim. It was a beautiful day and I'm so happy we decided to come today. Niall was getting little Georgia to jump into the water while Darcy, Cassidy, Andy, Emma and Jacob were all playing a game. the ladies were all tanning and some of us were helping our younger children to swim. Much like what Niall was doing with Georgia. I was helping out with little Hannah, while Liam was teaching Zayn. Hannah was already a great swimmer.
we spent the whole day just relaxing at the lake. It was amazing. Especially to just not have to worry about the whole battle of the bands. Which inevitably we would have to start thinking about. But not today. Today was just a great day of relaxing and fun.
