"What'd you mean your going out with that bitch?" I ask bluntly.
"Oh, Lea, she isn't a bitch. She's quite sweet, actually.. she's good." Says my brother, looking through his closet. "Anna likes me, I like her."
"Well.. she hates me!" I reply hollowly.
"So, why do you care?"
"Well maybe because I've been the main supplier of keeping us alive." I say simply.
"Just because you joined the X Force doesn't mean you're the most special one," He shoots back.

"Whatever, Dustin!" I shoot.
I slam the door in Dustin/my brother/the devil's face.
I stomp outside and catch him in the hallway.
"Hey Louis," I say lightly.
"Hi, bad day,huh?" He grins.
"You have no idea, my brother is driving me up the walls. Literally."
"So where you heading?" He asks playfully.
"Ah, up in the- attic. Yeah.. Mr.Lightway made me.. get some boxes filled with.. clothes." I lie.
"Hm. Oh well, gotta go. See you around." He says and flicks my braid from my shoulder. "Shouldn't you comb your hair or something?" Louis teases.
I smile and push him away. "Shut up.."
He heads in one direction (See what I did there?) and I head in the other. I run up the attic stairs, punch in my birthday, my thumb print, and an ID scan.
Joshua greets me with a "Go train with Erek, and then come back to the table so we can find out who will go, once you shoot all bullseyes come to the table, did I mention? Oh, and we're replacing the birthday with a security question about your middle name."

"Hello, to you too."
"Oh yes, I forgot. Go!"
I fumble to the archery station and see Dustin come in, hands hooked with Anna's. I vomit a bit.
"Who let Dust in here?!" But cover up my mouth and everyone shoots a dirty look at Alfred Greene, the other guy trying out the archery station next to me.

I grin when I see the bows. Sharp, sleek, black and wooden. The arrows are white and even the wooden part is sharp and you can get wood stuck in your skin.
I pick my normally used bow and feel something wrong. This wood is rough and broken. When I try to shoot after calling Erek over, it breaks.
"Huh, we always make sure our bows-"
But then Anna is laughing with Dustin. My ears go red. I throw her on a wall.
"You think this is funny? For you to take advantage since your dating my brother? Back off of Dustin and I, bitch!"

"Calm i-"
She gets cut off by Joshua yelling to close up. I'm about to throw my bow and then Louis and that guy with the curly hair and the vain one- Harry and Zack, or Zayn, I think- Harry and Zayn- come in looking somewhat annoyed.
"I came to get some boxes I left up here..?" Lou asks.
Joshua nods and I raise my eyebrows, meeting my eyes with Louis's, and he just shakes his head.
When they leave, Joshua yells, "Ight, we're closing a bit early. Meet up at lunch!"
I nod, glare at Anna and her group of baboons, (I'm being polite by not swearing about her stupid group,) and then throw the bow over my shoulder and get out.
I bump into Louis and he frowns.
"Watch where you're going."
I raise my eyebrows. 5 minutes ago he was the teasing, funny guy who I met.
"Huh?"
"You can't just bump into people like that." He hisses.
"Louis, what's going on?"
"You could have told me." He says harshly.
"About what?"
"About archery. About the force. About.. you."
I look around and pin him by the shoulders against the wall.
"Who told you? Forget everything, or I'll bang you in the head and you'll get a concussion."


"Don't be like that, why didn't you tell anyone?"
"Because if they find out they report. They say these guys are criminals. We get shut down, and boom the Dragon Stains win and take over the fucking government!"
"What?" He asks cautiously.
"I've said too much." I say and release him. "Who're the Dragon Stains?"

"Our enemies. Go away now."

He opens his mouth for a second, but then closes it and goes away.

Sorry for the short chapter, I could have written more except that I started watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with my little cousin who looked over at my computer and told me to help her play Dora. So I slammed the computer down. Sorreh :c
