"How Long Now?"
Katrine’s P.O.V
Melody talks to herself, I could hear her from down stairs. I don’t know what she was saying, but it I guess it doesn’t really matter.
She walks down the stairs and smiles at me.
“Uhm... Mel, you didn’t even change” I say, noticing her clothes are the same.
“I did but this was more comfortable” she shuffles nervously.
“Oh-kay” I raise an eyebrow.
She gets out two bowls, and then some forks. I just keep stirring the noddles until they’re fully cooked.
“So, after we eat and watch another movie... I’m going to give you your surprise” she smiles at me.
“Really? Yay!!” I grin.
I serve the noodles into both bowls, but obviously putting more in Melody’s than mine. I don’t know how she eats so much and doesn’t even have a stomach. I on the other hand, hate my stomach... I mean there isn’t really anything there but still.
We grab a fork each and sit down in the lounge room, Melody puts ‘The Ring’ in the DVD player.
Harry’s P.O.V
All I can hear from down stairs is screaming, I’m getting a little worried.
It’s been an hour since I’ve heard them start screaming, I think I might go see if they’re alright.
I sneak down stairs, and peek into the living room. I only see the TV but I can tell they’re only screaming because of the movie.
Suddenly I feel hungry and I walk straight into the kitchen carelessly.
I open the fridge and frown, it’s just all healthy stuff. I’m guessing they have all the yummy stuff with them in the lounge room. Damn!
I feel a weight on my shoulder and I whip around.
“Woah, calm down it’s just me” Melody whispers.
“How long now?” I whine.
I seriously am bored outta my mind, my phone is flat and I’m SO hungry.
“Like half an hour” she says.
I glare at her, she knows what is going through my mind.
“Make it 10 minutes, I’ll be up stairs” I slowly walk away.
She sighs from behind me as I trudge up stairs and into her room.
I know why she is making me wait, she is just afraid of Katrine’s reaction. I’m afraid of it to, but it’s gotta be done now or never. I can’t keep putting her off, I have been thinking about her non-stop for the last few years. We used to do everything together, and then I just left. That was a big mistake, and I regret it so much.
Now all I have to do is wait, hopefully the ten minutes will go fast...
