Summer Break
Where has the time gone?
I swung my TOMS with my left hand, then glanced at Harry who was on the other side looking at the moon over the ocean. Damn, he really was cute, obviously more than that, but you understand.
“So,” he cleared his throat. “Why are you staying here with your friend?” He asked sticking his free hand in his pocket.
As he looked at me with his beautiful green eyes I answered. “I just graduated from High School a couple of days ago, and my aunt and uncle, and Ashley and Josh’s parents surprised us all with this trip. It was quite sweet, I definitely was not expecting it at all.”
“Oh, so you live with your aunt and uncle?” he asked.
“Uhm, yea I do. Long story.” was my reply. He looked at me wanting to know more. “They took legal guardianship over me a little over two years ago.” He nodded.
“Alright so, tell me some things about yourself, like your hope and dreams. What you want your future to be like. Are you going to school after the summer is over?” he asked so many questions so quickly, not too quickly because Harry doesn’t talk that fast. I smiled at him because his accent when he finished his sentences just made me so giddy.
“Well, I’m going to college to study music industry, I’ve wanted to move there my whole life, and I’m excited I get the opportunity. I love singing, I love the way artist can express themselves and people understand them and, I just wanna sing, in front of people and share my love for it. So I guess that could fall under my hopes and dreams. My future as well, but someday I hope to fall in love with a guy who sweeps me off my feet, like every other girl hopes. Someone who accepts my past and my future, someone to dance with me in the rain, and not mind how crazy and dorky I can be. And respects me and my values… “ I looked up the beach to give myself room to breath. “Honestly,” I looked at him, he has a half smile on his face, showing his dimples. I shrugged. “I just want to be happy. That’s all.”
We walked for a couple minutes in silence, “What about you?” I asked, “What is Harry Styles doing in the Bahamas, by himself, for how long may I ask?”
He chuckled. “Well, I needed some time to myself, we all do you know. I like thinking, I’m a thinker. Sometimes I like being in quiet places, buying a drink at the bar, then asking a pretty girl to walk on the beach.”
I laughed and pushed his arm. ‘I bet you do do that with all the girls don’t you.”
“Not really.” He smiled. “But my boys are going to come for a couple of weeks during the middle of Summer, and I’ll be here till the end.”
We, well I, hadn’t realized it but we had made it back to the hotel. I checked my phone to see what time it was. I laughed, “Oh my gosh! Is it really 1 o’clock?” I asked, I didn’t know it was so late.
“Harry looked down at his watch and smiled. “I guess so. Where has the time gone?” he asked leading us towards the hotel.
As soon as our feet hit solid ground we put or shoes back on, then made our way through the hotel doors.
“I feel like if I say anything, everyone here will hear me it’s so quiet.” Harry whispered in my ear, sending chills down my back.
I let out a breathy laugh before we hit the elevators. I danced over and pressed the “up” button. He laughed at me as the door dinged and we walked in. “What are you laughing at?!” I smiled pressing the number 7. “What floor are you on?”
“You!” he chuckled again, he was leaning on the side of the wall with his legs crossed. “7, same as you.’ he put his hand up, “What are the odds?”
I laughed and shook my head, then the elevator doors opened. We walked down the hall and I stopped in front of my room. “This is me.” I pointed.
“Well, I had a very lovely time with you tonight,’ he looked at his watch again. “This morning.” He laughed.
“So did I.” I swear I have the stupidest grin on my face all night. “Thank you.”
I opened my door slightly, so I didn’t just stare at him. He moves his hand to my wrist and says, “ By the way love.” he pauses. “I like your bracelet.”
I started laughing so hard, and LOUD. I covered my mouth with my hands remembering the time. “Wow, that’s embarrassing. I completely forgot I was wearing it!”
“It’s alright,” he winked. Then he walked towards me and gave me a quick hug before whispering. “Goodnight Annabelle.”
“Goodnight Harry.” I replied as he the opposite direction, then he turned and looked at me one more time before I shut my door. I looked up in the dark and mouthed. “Thank you lord!”

Hey guys!!!!!So, today I got and saw that I had 3 NEW SUBSCRIBERS!!! Oh my gosh. I was so excited. Anyway, I've meant to post this 3 times today, but we're moving into out new house and right when I was about to type the note they would call me to help. So, I finally got it up before it was too late in the day! I hope y'all like this chapter though, I had fun writing it.
