Summer Break
So lately, I've been asking for feedback on my story and I've gotten some negative comments about it. I'm not hating, I'm not disagreeing, I actually appreciate everyone's critique. I get that people think my story is like other stories, and they do normal couple stuff, but they want me to put a twist in my story.
Alright, I have been reading plenty of fanfictions lately, especially on wattpad, let me tell you. A lot are also the same even know they have a twist, girl falls in love with bad boy that she shouldn't, ex comes into the picture, broken girl doesn't believe she can be with a guy, etc. I get it, so if i add something right now, how would it be any different than that? You know? I'm trying to make a point but i'm not sure how well I'm doing. So let me tell you a little more about this story and the thought process that goes behind it, and though it may be boring to some, this is what I feel.
Annabelle has a past, a past that has made her a stronger person, and she's used to not depending on other people because she's always lost people who were close to her and she's learned to live by herself. That's one of the reason she thinks so much, because she has never felt comfortable enough to go to other people and fully trust them. I guess you could kinda say she has trust issues. so it was weird for her to be in a relationship and talk to Harry about everything, but at the same time it's the easiest thing in the world. That's what love does, isn't it? But she's scared. I don't want her to have the perfect past, and she doesn't and I based it off of real life events so you could connect to her and maybe feel was she has gone through and how she's changing. Obviously, i'm not trying to create the perfect or the worst relationship, I'm trying to point out the struggles she goes through with herself, and that she's slowly letting those go. I'm sorry not every relationship has problems that should ruin there relationship, but that's why this is my fanfiction. Let's be honest how many of you have fallen in love with the school bull and lived happily ever after? Or fallen in love with a gang member? Or fell in love with the new British school boy, or a teacher? I like happiness, and romance, and reality. I know the chances of meeting him this way are slim, but the actual story could probably be true. I'm definitely not saying that's all this story is going to be, happy and carefree, because more towards the end, you guys are gonna be shocked at what I do. I am apologizing in advanced. I hope you see the way Annabelle is changing, and understand why this story is what it is.
Alright, lastly I just really wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has read and supported my story, and hasn't given up on it. and to those who commented telling me they liked it. That's all i really want, is to write a story that makes you happy, but you can feel their struggles... I don't know if this accomplished what I wanted it too but, if it did thats good.
Also thanks to those of you actually reading this. I love you all.
