Summer Break
Nothing Important.
“I’m still a virgin! ;)”
“HAHAHAHA! I’ll have to have a talk with him!”
“Shut up, dude.” I smiled at my phone.
“What are you doing?”
I looked around the room. “Uh, sitting on the couch.”
“Cuddling?”
“Yea. I’m texting you about him while there’s a chance he’s looking over my shoulder watching me. Lol. Nah girl, he’s in the shower.”
“What? Why’s he in the shower? He couldn't shower before he invited you over?” After I read the message, I heard the water go off.
“I’m sure he did. We kind of got into a flour fight, so we both had to take one.” The bathroom door squeaked open and I looked up at his bare chest. He shook his head then met my eyes.
“I left my shirt in the bedroom.” he explained. I nodded, and as he walked toward his room I just stared at the naked upper body. Oh my god. He was so… so sexy. Yea. Let’s just face it.
“What? Do you need clothes? I can bring you something.”
“Nah girl, I’m fine. I packed some shorts and Harry let me use a shirt, and he just walked out of the bathroom shirtless. Oh my god.”
“WHAT? Oh my god! Did you take a picture?”
I saw Harry walk from the room into to the kitchen and grab a cookie.
“No, why the hell would I do that?! You’ve seen pictures before.”
“These are all right.” Harry said with cookie in his mouth.
“Yea, they are. I’m surprised.” I joked.
“What? Are you doubting my baking capabilities?”
I put my hands up, “I ain’t sayin nothing.”
He smiled at me before grabbing two cookies and made his way towards the couch.
“It’s not the real thing.” Ashley’s message read.
“You’re absolutely right. Gotta go. Text you later boo!”
I locked my phone and put it in my back pocket.
“Here, you go love.” Harry handed me a cookie as he sat next to me.
“Thank you!” I took it willingly and practically shoved it into my mouth. Maybe I was taking the whole ‘not thinking’ thing to seriously.
Harry laughed. “You don’t seem as shy as before.”
“That means I’m getting comfortable around you. Let me apologize in advance!” I laughed.
“Don’t apologize. I’m glad you’re comfortable with me.” his smile was caring and warm, and his eyes. Oh my goodness. I looked away and took another bite of my cookie.
“Alright, so since we messed up the kitchen, what should we do?”
“We could go mess up the bedroom.” he suggested casually.
My jaw dropped. “What?! Get outta here.” I pushed his arm a little bit.
He laughed loudly. “I’m joking, I’m joking. We could watch a movie.”
I rolled my eyes.. He wasn’t joking. “Alright, you pick.”
“Love Actually?” he said.
“Wait, that’s seriously your favorite movie?!” I asked.
“Yea! Have you seen it?” he was excited.
“Yes! Its terrible!”
“What? It is not! Maybe you just haven’t watched it with the right company.”
“Oh, okay. So are you the right company?” I asked him with a wide smile.
“I am, actually.” he nodded.
“Alright, then let’s watch it.” I said hitting my legs.
“Really?” I nodded. “You’re sure?” he asked again slowly standing from the couch.
“Yes!” I giggled.
Harry moved over to the television and the movie came on. I don’t really know if he already had it or what but, whatever. He came back and sat down next to me, closer this time. I pulled my knees into my chest and wrapped my arms around them then started paying attention to the movie. It really wasn’t that good, but I’d pretended to be interested because I’m sweet. Hey, what can you do.
When we were about twenty minutes into the movie, I peaked at him from the corner of my eye, that’s when I saw he was looking at me, and it wasn’t a glance either. I was more than that, in fact, I think I had been paying more attention to the movie than he had. I decided to turn to him.
“You’re very quiet.” I pointed out.
“So are you.” he accused.
“Yes, but I’d figure you’d have laughed or something by now.” I explained.
“Yea, you’re right. Maybe I’m just distracted.”
“By what?” I asked raising my eyebrows. I guess I kind of knew, but I wanted to know what he would say.
“Uhm, nothing important.” he replied.
Oh, never mind then. I nodded and turned my head back to the movie. Nothing important I repeated to myself. Don’t think about it Annabelle, don’t think!
