Summer Break
The beginning.
"Okay guys." I laughed pulling away from my aunts hug. "I have to go before I miss the flight!"
"We know," my aunt sobbed quietly. "We're just going to miss you, that's all."
"I know, I'm going to miss you guys too!" I hugged them all again, my aunt first, then my uncle, then lastly my cousin.
"Okay, so be safe. Don't forget to call when you get there. Skype us, carry pepper spray in you're purse, don't keep large bills on you, and... don't miss your connecting flight." she listed with tears building in her eyes.
"And we know the drinking age is 18, so don't go getting drunk every night and partying just because you can. Make smart decisions." My uncle added in, making me laugh.
"Of course." I smiled. "I love you guys, and thanks again for this. I'm so excited and happy, and I'll never be able to thank you enough!" I wiped at tear that had fallen from my right eye. "I'll take pictures, and bring you guys back some sand." they laughed at my gift idea.
"Hey second family!!" Ashley sang as she hugged them all. "Thank you, and we love you, and we will see you when we get back! Oh my god, we are going to miss you so much!" She smiled and hugged them all one more time. Jake stood back, then shook my uncles hand and and hugged the others. "I hate to ruin your goodbyes, but we do have to go soon." She patted me on the back as we walked away waving goodbye.
"Alright," I mumbled picking up my purse and grabbing the handle to my carry-on. "I guess that's my cue to leave." I sighed.
"Bye sweetheart." my uncle whispered.
I smiled and turned around heading towards airport security. I glanced behind my one more time and let out a weak smile and waved. They waved back, then I continued on, turning frequently until my family was consumed by a sea of people. I took a deep breath and joined Ashley and Jake in line.

I just graduated from High School, I know, now I'm going out into the adult world. Anyway, my aunt and uncle surprised me after I graduated telling me that they helped pay for a trip, along with Ashley and Jake's parents, to the Bahamas. I was so excited, I cried and thanked them for a week straight. I was so excited. I didn't deserve this, I didn't deserve them. They received legal guardianship of me two and a half years ago, and I've been with them since. They've treated me better than I ever have in my life.
So this is the beginning. The beginning of my 2 1/2 month long summer break, and I'm more than ready.

hiiii guys,so this is my first chapter. I already wrote it once and had it up, then I deleted on accident because I'm dumb. anyways, i promise it will get better. I just wanted to start off the story with an introduction into Annabelle's life, just so you could maybe connect to the story better. Any way, i love writing you guys, and I am so excited for this story. I'm ready to take on the challenge of writing a fan fiction. anyway, if you guys read it please tell me! if you like it tell me! and all that jazz. i promise you a good story. thank you guys!
