"Wooh!" We both cheered, as another flip made us soar. Montu came to an end as we put our shoes back on. She patted her blonde hair and gasped in disbelief. "My beanies gone!!" She began to panic. I held her shoulders to calm her down. She sank into my chest and sighed. "Here." I took off my snapback and lightly placed it on her head. She blushed and kissed my forehead. I could feel the heat throughout my face. "You're the sweetest guy ever!! Thanks soooo much!" She grabbed my hand and we headed to Sheikra. She set my hat with our shoes and chuckled. "This time I'll make sure nit to lose it!" I smiled and laughed. We sat in the very front row. When we turned the corner I saw the sun peaking past the building at us. We looked at each other as the sun began to set. Our gaze was interrupted when we felt a pit in our stomachs and dropped straight down. I felt like we were screaming even at the concession stand. "Do you want anything, Hadley?" I asked. She snapped out of her thoughts and turned to me. "Oh sorry! Hahaha. Could I please have coot on candy?" She smiled widely at me. "Anything!" I replied and turned to the man working concessions. "Could I get 1 cotton candy and a...pretzel please?" "That'll be $9.50 sir!" I played for it and we walked into Gwazi park. We sat on a bench and ate. I scheduled fireworks for 10:00 PM exactly. I checked my phone quickly. It was 9:59 PM. One more minute. I had to get Hadley to look at the sky. "Hey, Hadley! Aren't the stars pretty?" Please look up. Then she looked at the twinkling beauty in awe. "They're beautiful!" She replied. Just then, a purple burst cracked in the sky. The whole rainbow lit up the night sky. "Wow Ni-" She was speechless. Literally. Then she began to form words. Hadley's name popped up and a heart was at the end. She turned to me and kissed my lips slightly. I found myself kissing her back and my cheeks burning. She pulled away and smiled wide at me. "Hadley?" I was really nervous to ask this. Was it too soon? "Yeah Niall?" She said my name in a slight Irish accent. I was already rubbing off on her. "Will you be my girlfriend?" I finally found the words to say. She seemed utterly shocked at my question. I don't think she felt the same way. I began to panic and my heart started racing. Anxiety attack? "Of course I will! You're the most amazing and sweet guy I've ever had the pleasure to meet!" She finally let out. A wave of relief came over me. When we were back at her house, we sat on the porch and talked. I sadly had to leave. "Bye, Hadley. I'll text you later." I tried not to show my sudden sadness. "Bye Niall....Oh and thanks for tonight! It's been the best date of my life!" I began to walk away. But I heard Hadley yelling for me. I turned to see her jogging over to me. "You forgot you're hat!" She placed it on my head and poked my nose. She walked into her house and I drive off.
