Unforgettable
Chapter 1
I woke up feeling horrible. My back is hurting like someone’s hit me with a ton of bricks. I walk into the bathroom where I go and get ready to start the day. I apply on my makeup and get my hair done. I walk into my wardrobe and find something I could wear that was appropriate.
My head was throbbing and I had a interview for a job today. I sigh knowing that no matter what nothing will help this annoying headache go away. Nothing works, not even Advil.
I quickly grab my car keys from the kitchen bench and walk into the garage to my car. I start the car and in my luck it isn’t turning on. “You pathetic piece of shit, why is this happening to me, why today” I yell. I rush out of the car and just start walking to Starbucks to get a coffee.
I walk up to the counter and ask for a coffee. I look around and there was no tables left to sit on. I sigh and give in to just walk to the interview a couple hours early. “Number 45, Nat”. I walk up and grab my coffee.
My phone vibrated in my pocket. I grab it out of my pocket and read the message my best friend had sent me. BANG!
"Oh my god, I’m so sorry. I wasn’t paying attention, I will get you a new shirt" I said to the tall boy with curly hair.
"Oh no that’s fine love, no need to worry about it. You don’t have to buy me a new shirt, I can afford it" He replies.
"I didn’t mean for it to sound like I was calling you poor, it was my fault and I should definitely go buy you and new shirt"
"I know that, it’s okay seriously it’s just coffee. I have plenty of other shirts"
"Well I am seriously so sorry. I will watch out next time, silly me. I better get going or else I’ll be late for my interview". I reply back with a smile on my face.
I walk away without hesitation. I palm myself in the face. I am so embarrassed, I don’t think I could ever see him again.
