Hard To Get
I Heard Everything.
Emma’s P.O.V
“Lee! I’m here!” I yell from out the front of Liena’s house.
The door swings open and she is standing there with a grin on her face.
“Get in here Em!” she pulls me in her house.
Music is blasting from her Ipod dock and I can hardly hear myself think. I walk over to her Ipod and put on ‘Up All Night’ by One Direction butI turn it down a bit.
Liena hands me a Coke and we sit on the couch.
“So, I heard Niall’s got a thing for you” she nudges me.
I roll my eyes.
“Oh c’mon, I know you like him too” she smiles at me.
“I do not!” I say.
“Whatever” she shakes her head.
My phone starts to ring and I answer it.
“Hey, it’s Emma!” I say.
“Hey Emma, it’s Niall” he says.
I go to hang up but he continues.
“Please don’t end this, you know I like you and I just wanna talk” he says.
“Niall, I don’t have time for this” I say.
“Please Emma, just think about it” he begs.
“I’ve got to go” I hang up.
I know I’m being harsh but it’s gotta be done, besides he knows how I am. Although he is pretty cute and ... NO! Stop it Emma!
Niall’s P.O.V
She hangs up on me.
Oh that girl, she’s got me hooked.
I slip my phone back into my pocket and get into my car. Legally, I shouldn’t be driving but hey, you only live once.
I drive over to my cousins house and listen at the door.
“Don’t deny it Em, you love him” Liena says.
“I don’t love him... I might like him a little though”
“I knew it!” squeals Liena “You guys are going to get married and then we can be sister-in-laws!”
I laugh at Liena’s wild imagination, and I open the door.
“I believe I just heard you say you like me” I move closer to Emma.
She looks at Liena and frowns.
“I don’t know what you think you heard but it wasn’t true” she tries to walk past me.
I grab onto her arm and she glares at me.
“I heard everything, stop trying to run away” I say and my grip becomes tighter.
“Niall, let go of me right now!” she demands.
“Just be mine, Emma” I say sternly.
Her face turns red and I lean close to her face, then she gulps.
“I didn’t want to do this Niall, but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do” I look at her weirdly.
She twists my arm around and knees me in the balls. I drop to the ground holding my crutch and groaning.
She runs out the front door and drives away in her blue Mazda.
Is she stupid, I know where she lives and that is where I am going.
