Chapter 4
(Cassie/Claire POV)
I had to be ready early today because right after my shift at Starbucks, I had to go to work on finishing the music video for “I Knew You Were Trouble”. Taylor and I were friends and when she heard about me and Louis breakup she said we should make a remix of that song together. The video was scheduled to release next week and I had to see it one last time to be one hundred percent sure I liked it. Taylor had always refused to tell me who this song was about and with living two lives I was never able to check any gossip. I dress up in my outfit for work and pack my wig and everything to turn into Cassie for the music video.
*After Shift at Starbucks, At Studio*
My shift was pretty easy and there were barely any customers so I didn’t have to do much. I pretty much spent the whole time on my phone texting Liam. I hadn’t been able to get him completely out of my mind since last Friday when I saw him at the mall. We have been texting continuously and it was really fun getting to know Liam as Claire because somehow he was so much more open and fun to talk to. I guess he been closed up when I was dating Louis but I couldn’t figure out why. Now I got to know him and I couldn’t stop thinking of him. We were planning on meeting up on Wednesday, which was tomorrow. He had promised to keep this a secret from the other boys and I was really happy he understood and didn’t ask to bring the rest of the boys.
I got out of the car and headed into the studio and found the area where the editing was done. I had looked through the video and liked how it looked and somehow I felt like it completely summed up my feelings for Louis. Taylor had decided that she wanted to direct this video so she had me in as the heartbroken girl. It had turned out really good and I was really curious to find out what the guys would think of it. I wonder if they would realize that this is about Louis. For some reason I felt like what Liam thought was really important. I guess I could somehow ask him about it once it releases and he sees it. They were apparently staying here for a while and I was really upset at first but somehow I felt happy that I would get to see Liam a lot. My feelings were scaring me but I promised myself it was just friendly. I couldn’t bare to get my heart broken again by a boy from One Direction.
