“SORRY….They’re leaving.”

Today, thankfully, school was closed. Due to some kind of inspection, they had called my house, telling us about some gas inspections. We wouldn’t have to go back till Monday. I laid my phone on the kitchen counter, as I decided to finally eat something. After barely touching food for a few days…I needed food…or I’d probably die.

My phone buzzed and I quickly snatched it off the counter, expecting it to be Elliot…but it wasn’t it was Lou.

*Hey love, I gave Nash ya number…He’s having a party with his bird, and Elli and I are tagging along. …hope you and all the ladies can make it. Party’s tonight..which is only a few hours away…See you soon love x*

*Hey Lia, it’s Nash…the lads and I are having a party at my house tonight at 7. My house is a mile off of Knutsford...hope you can make it! *

As I laid my head on the counter, I heard the lock click and the door swing open.

“LIA! Baby I’ve missed you so much!”

“Mommy!!!” I ran over to her and embraced her in a tight hug.

Gone for a week, and it feels like forever.

“Why do you have so many business trips..”

“Well…to keep this house…and pay our bills…Thalia…you’re old enough to take care of yourself..now aren’t you.”

“Yes, but maybe we can skype or facetime when you’re away…” Giving her the puppy dog eyes.

“I would love that, but I have some bad news…”

I gave her a confused look, as she kept on going.

“I’ll be leaving for a little bit…you’re sisters old enough to be your legal guardian while you’re gone and I trust you both..as well as Dana and Zai. I have a huge meeting with the top of the top business corps…tonight. We jet fly out there in about an hour…I know it’s soon but…It’s the biggest deal…”

I cut her off knowing she’d be going on, and on, about how sorry she felt.

“Mom! I get it ! It’s fine with me…! If we’re in danger….i’m sure you’d be the first to know. I love you!”

She gave me a wry smile before hugging me.

“I love you sweetie, MUAH. OH and don’t forget to buy groceries…and refill the cup full of money. So you guys have cash for school. Charge it on your credit card, I’d rather you be in charge of all the needs for this house, than Vivian who hides in the basement..! Say hello and give them all kisses” Referring to the girls.

“Hey, I heard that! I’ll miss you mommadukes.” Vivi rubbed her eyes while walking over to mom and giving her a tight hug.

“We love you” She added before locking the door as mom left.

“I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH! “ She shouted before heading into the car.

I quickly dialed her number in my phone, and waited until she picked up.

“Missed me already..”

“I just wanted to say I love you, and be careful.”

“I will, I love you too sweetie. I’ve got to but facetime me later on tonight okay?”

“Okay..i love you.

She had always been a hard worker..and right about now…I really needed a little alone time. I just hope my mom doesn’t make this a ritual..I think I’d miss her too much.

TODAY NEEDED TO BE GIRLS DAY.

“BITCHES …ITS HAIR,NAILS,SPA,SHOPPING,MAKEUP,EVERYTHING SPREE.” I heard a
rumble of footsteps before 3 girls thumped down the stairs.

“WE’RE READY” they chimed.

I think we all literally had the best Girls Day ever… I had decided a ombre look would be a nice change for my normal due. We all had our nails done, and had decided to try those new fake eyelashes treatment.

They would apply single eyelashes on your own, to make them look fuller, yet, nevertheless flawless. We got loads of clothes, and outfits for tonight. Got to say we looked bangin’. As we exited the mall, we bumped right into Elli and Sabrina.

“Lia? Girls…Are you guys shopping for tonight?”

“Yes…actually we just finished…”

“Us too!” Sabrina smiled.

“WELL WOOHO..” Sabrina clamped her hand around my mouth and grabbed us all behind one of the plants in the mall.

“Shush…look over there.”

“Look over where?”

“LOOK! By the foodcourt…isn’t that Jenn?”

“Yea! It is…but…” What the hell.

I looked a little bit closer to see Jenn seated across from Darcy. Hayes, and Blake right next to her.

“What the fuck….”

The girls all gasped…When did Jenn become a traitor?

Elli looked at me, giving me a worried look.

“Harry was telling me all about this…Isn’t Blake your ex? Somethin’s up with her…IS SHE THE ONE WHO RECOMMENDED PLAYING HARRY?”

“Yea…but I never thought…”

“Don’t you dare trust a word she says….Just let her be…act nice…but she’s obviously not one to be trusted…We are all your friends..and obviously yet again, she is not. Who in their right bloody mind would want to hang out with them…LET’S GO NOW.” She tugged my hand leading us out of the mall.

I would have never suspected Jenn to be the traitor…
