“Yes.”

“Well…he was in a gang or a cult. Whatever tickles your fancy. He was given that nickname because that’s exactly how he acted. The gang killed people, and beat them..till they gave in. He had went through something…but it was something that made him join them…I guess he realized it wasn't the lifestyle he wanted, and he wanted out. I remember the day I got this…he brought me to Hayes’ house and they were getting in an argument. He told him he wanted out and that he didn't want it anymore. Hayes got furious, and took out his knife. He told him that there wasn't any way to get out and if he wanted to, there would always be a price to pay. He grabbed me, and threatened him. Harry didn't think he would dare touch me but he did and he swiped at my cheek. After that he dragged me into a room and opened a lid. Harry screamed and pleaded for him to let me go but he didn’t. Hayes threatened him saying that this was only half of the payback he was gonna get for leaving. He tried pushing my head in, but Harry grabbed his arm to stop him. They fought relentlessly, but somehow during the whole fight I tripped and the liquid had spilt all over my arm. It was acid and it burned through my skin..and every since then…well you know how it all ended out.. Harry was by my side, all throughout my recovery, and even though it may not mean anything to you..it did to me.I know that you don’t have any intentions on actually dating him….but I can tell he fancies you a lot. He’s protected you from him.” She touched my cheek, and I flinched. “He fancies you more than any girl he’s been with…even me..But don’t play with him…he’s being real for once..I mean it. “ She gave me a stern look before picking up her tray of food and throwing it out. I wonder if she was referring to my whole ‘giving him a taste of his own medicine’.

“Thank you” I mouthed at her..before she waved goodbye to leave.

Jenn rushed over as soon as she left.” Are you out of your mind”

“No…but…I ..ill talk to you later. I needa go home and freshen up…okay.”

“But Thalia…you have 2 more periods left..”

“That’s okay tell them that I was sick or something” I waved and then sped walk towards the door. I knew Harry had seen what I had done, and I wasn’t in any mood to be confronted by him.

I kept my eyes to the ground and walked until I saw double doors.

“Thalia…Wait…wait Thalia..what’s wrong…Thalia..” I kept walking until I reached the doors and ran out. He quickly caught up with me and grabbed me by the hand.

“Thalia…what…I’m sorry.”

“For what…Harry…. I um really need some space right now.”

“I…” He looked down at me giving me a worried look. He looked terrified.

“Let me drive you home.” I was going to decline his offer, but I knew a lot of things were going through his head..
