When Dreams Meet Reality
Lights Out
"What's going on!?" I question. Someone put a blindfold on me.
"Calm yourself! Everything's cool!" Harry's voice complains. He sets his hands on my waist and I automatically let my guard down. There's an angry grunt. "What? I'm only leading her to the surprise!"
I feel Harry's hands drop. And someone leads me to what I think is my arm chair. As soon as I sit down, I hear a movement and an 'oof!' I hear slapping and more punching. Next I hear Liam shout at the two who are throwing punches to stop.
"Are you three done?" I ask, folding my arms over my chest. "Or do I have to take this thing off my face? I hate fighting. Stop it."
"They'e done." Liam replies, relieved.
"May I ask who was in that?" My arms still over my chest.
There's a long pause before Louis responds. "Um.... Do you really want to know?"
"Of course I want to know! This is my house."
"It was Harry and Niall." Zayn tells me.
"Thank you, Zayn." I set my hands in my lap.
"You're wel- wait, how did you know it was me?"
"You are in a Directioner's room, in the presence of the Directioner, what do you expect?" I answer with a question.
"True. Now, let's get going!" Zayn responds. I think he's the one who helps me up. It's so challenging to know what's going on when you can't see!
I feel someone's hands on my waist again, but it's not Harry's, they're too small. They're not Liam's or Zayn's because they wouldn't do that, they'd hold my hand. It can't be Lou, I just heard his voice from across the room, he said he would go talk to my mom....
Niall.
He leads me away. He whispers, "We're going down the stairs now." So he helps me descend. We turn left and go outside, I think. "Okay, duck, we're going into the van. But don't forget to step up."
"Um, Niall."
"Yeah?"
"I can't see!" I exclaim.
" I know that, I just- oh.... Gotcha." He lifts me up and hands me to one of the guys. Or is that Paul? Whatever. Whoever it is sits me down and buckles me up.
"Thanks, guys." I sigh. "Now can you tell me where we're going?"
"Nope." Louis says, poking me in the stomach.
"Darn it...." I mutter. I huff and sit criss-cross. The boys laugh at me and I stick my tongue out at them. "How long, at least?"
"Only ten minutes." A voice unrecognizable states.
"Okay."
