We've all had bits and pieces of being with Prim, and getting to know her, but Niall the least. So he got the more general part. Liam was the one who put this all together though, he was the one who got to know her the most. Now he wants to show it to Prim, but it was supposed to be a birthday present for her....

"When are we going to play?" I ask Liam when he comes home from our studio, he had gotten the guitars we use for the song.

"As soon as she wakes up, I'll go check on her." Liam gives Niall a guitar and sets the others down by the couch. Niall puts on the strap and lets the guitar hang. He slips upstairs and comes back quickly. "She's awake...."

Louis hands the other guitar to Liam (which he puts his strap on quickly) and we all line up to go upstairs. Once I enter the room, I can see why Liam has been so down lately. Prim hasn't done anything to herself since she came back. She's still in the same sweatpants and stained tee. Her hair is a mess, she has circles under her eyes, make-up streaks her pale cheeks, and she looks hollow, she hasn't eaten in days. Prim is perched at the end of the bed, staring forward.

I swallow hard, and glance at the others. We know this song by heart, but we always get nervous when singing a new song.

Niall and Liam start on guitar, then Zayn comes in.

"Your hand fits in mine like it's made just for me.
But bear this in mind, it was meant to be.
And I'm joining up the dots, with the freckles on your cheeks.
And it all makes sense to me...."

Liam's part comes up next.

Zayn comes in strong, yet still having a sense of comfort, but Liam's voice is soft and barely noticeable for the chorus.

And all these little things...."

There's some strumming before Louis' solo starts.

"You can't go to bed without a cup of tea.
And maybe that's the reason you talk in your sleep.

Though it makes no sense to me."

I am back to back with Louis in this song, so I have no time to think.

"I know you've never love the sound of your voice on tape.

You still have to squeeze into your jeans.

For the chorus, there's what the fans call 'Narry', apparently it's our bromance.

Niall's solo was done with the guitar a little stronger.

Next, I have the chorus alone.

We all sing at the same time when the chorus repeats itself.

In sync, we turn to Prim who has tears in her eyes. Liam gives his guitar to Zayn, and stares. Prim leaps off the bed, with tears streaming down her face, she jumps into Liam's arms.
"I've been a complete jerk to you. I'm so so sorry. I was just wrapped up in everything that was going on. I-" Liam shuts her up with a soft but passionate kiss. I smile, they are such a cute couple.

And to think, they might get married. I shake my head. No, they will get married. They'll have a few children. They'll be happy with their life together. And I know that there will be fights, Liam will sleep at my place. Or Prim will come and seek one of the boys' comfort. We'll be called 'Uncles' even though we're not related. Then, once again I know that I'll find someone and we'll live in our little happy ending. But, I wonder who's going to be with the rest of the guys.... Well, fate will unfold and then we'll all know at some point, but let's live in the present, where things are just fine.
