Remember Those Days?

Stories

"Abigail!" She hugged me tightly. "I missed you!" She exclaimed, sitting back down.
"Oh my gosh, you had such perfect timing!" I told her.
"I know, One Direction's tour bus broke down and they had to stay at your house. You're so lucky!" She said, beaming.
Yeah, lucky. I thought.
"Hey, aren't you supposed to have an interview today?" Helen asked, taking a sip of her latte.
"What's the point?" I hissed. "I'd rather bathe a hobo." I rolled my eyes.
Helen chuckled a bit. "Spill."

I told her everything, from the start, to present 11:53 in the afternoon. By the time I finished, I was in tears.
"Oh my God, I'm sorry I dragged you into this." I croaked, wiping my eyes.
"It's okay, you shouldn't be sorry. I can help." She smirked.

"Helen, I - " Suddenly, the tv volume escalated.

"After the break, we'll be back with Louis Tomlinson and Abigail Ridgeford." The lady announced, then it went to commercial.
"Let's go." Helen said, picking up her things.
"Wha - Helen! No!" I said, as she grabbed my wrist and pulling me out the door.

"You don't have to tell the truth. Just go." She said, putting me in the car.
"You crazy hoe." I half-smiled, buckling the seatbelt. We drove in silence, until I poked the radio button.

I smacked the off button. "We're here." Helen whispered in my ear, making me jump. I sighed, and climbed out of the car. We were outside the door, when I grabbed Helen's wrist.
"Wait," I turned her around. "Thanks. For making me do this." I smiled, interrupted by a large man bursting through the door. "Three minutes til interview, miss." He told me, pushing me inside. The first thing I saw was a pacing Louis, looking worried. I quickly shifted my eyes over to the makeup table, and sat down.

The lady just put on concealer and brushed my hair, then freed me. Once again, I saw Louis, who looked up at me, making his face light up. "Abigail, I - " he started, but I interrupted. "Let's just get this over with. " I snarled, seeing the hurt in his eyes. My heart frowned, but my mind was telling me I did the right thing.

The director ushered us over to a couch, which was surprisingly comfortable. "We're on in 3... 2.. 1.." He shot a finger at the interviewer, telling her to start. "We're back with the interview on 'Logail Tomlinford', the couple that was seen together at a One Direction photoshoot yesterday."

"Oh, um, we're not a couple..." I chirped, putting on my biggest fake smile.
"Oh! I'm sorry! Just friends?" She grinned. I nodded, glancing at Louis, who nodded slowly.
"So, Abigail, what was your first reaction when you saw them at your front door?" The lady asked, her eyes wide, and her smile bright.

"Honestly, I was shocked, because, Louis, here, was actually my best friend in the first grade, until he moved away." I pursed my lips.
"Ohh, so you already knew each other?" She asked, looking shocked.
"Yeah, but it was hard at first because she didn't like carrots." Louis joked. I faked a laugh, and so did the interviewer.

I could only imagine how many teenagers just lost their breath from laughing at that, rolling on the floor crying.
"So, Louis, are you getting a new van, or will you wait and see if the old one will get fixed?" She asked, leaning in.
"Um, we're, actually getting our new van tomorrow, so..." He trailed off.

I knew it. They didn't bother to be loud about it until after I knew what was going on. "Oh, so that means you'll be restarting the tour tomorrow?" She asked, pretending to be intrigued. AHH!!!! OH MY GOD ONE DIRECTION'S TOUR IS BACK ON MOM BUY ME TICKETS!!! Louis shrugged. "I mean, I guess so. Why not?" He asked, his eye twitching a bit.

The interviewer turned back to the camera. "Wow, folks. Talk about excitement! We'll be back after the break." Her smile was from ear to ear, which faded into a flat line after the camera moved away.

I got up and walked over to Helen, who had watched the whole thing. "I told you. They told me less than 48 hours ago that their bus couldn't be fixed. And now they're going back on tour. Yay." I growled, waving my hands.
"Abigail, you can't give up that easily. You gotta fight for him!" She encouraged, shaking my shoulders.

"Why should I?" I asked, a little loud. "If he really loved me, he would've told me the truth, instead of using me."
"Abigail. Every girl dreams of the position you're in. Take advantage of it."
I laughed.
"Every girl? I'm a girl. I HATE the position I'm IN!" I scowled, storming off to behind the building.

"Fuck the consequences. Come at me, bro." I muttered, remembering the texts. I ran over and punched the wall, scraping my fists.Blood stained my knuckles, but I struck the wall a second time. I paused, getting an idea. I stepped on the generator against the wall, grabbing ahold of the roof. Pulling myself up, I paused. What was I going to tell them when they asked how it happened?

Before I could reconsider, I leapt of of the roof, sitting in mid-air for a split second before hitting the rock-hard ground, with only my right arm to break my fall. Pain soared up and down my arm, not to mention the wind got knocked out of me, and there was nobody around.

"Abigail?" I caught my breath. "He-Helen.." I choked through tears.
"Abigail, what were you doing?!" She asked.
"There's no time for that, get me inside for the i-interview. The break is almost ov-ver." I stuttered, standing up.

"OWW!" I screeched, falling back. My arm hurt to move it. I tried standing up with the other arm. It worked, but I still couldn't even move my other arm. I heard people rushing out the door, for the must have heard me scream. "I'm fine, don't worry about me." I insisted, walking slowly towards the door.

When I opened the door, I came face-to-face with Louis, who gawked at my arm. "It's fine, leave me alone." I scowled, but Louis stopped me from moving forward. "Abigail, I won't let you do the interview with your arm like that." He told me. I rolled my eyes.
"Do you not understand the words 'leave me alone'?" I asked.
"I do," He said, "But I don't choose to listen to them. He placed his arm behind me, and under my legs, picking me up. "LOUIS!" I screamed, struggling to get free with my one good arm.

He placed me in the backseat of Drew's car, locking the doors so I couldn't get out. "Louis, I'm fine. LET ME DO THE INTERVIEW!" I pleaded. I groaned, and fell back in the seat, smirking.

"You're one tough chick, superman."
