I laughed as he drew whiskers on my face. "Draw mine, draw mine!" he chanted. I grabbed a green crayon, drawing sloppy lines on his cheeks."Abigail!" The teacher scolded. My smile faded as I looked up at Mrs. Newport. "We do not draw on people!" She swept away the crayons, and our fun. The bell rang, and we raced to our bookbags. "I win!" I shouted, punching the air above me.
The next day, he wasn't at school. My teacher sat us down on the carpet to tell us that he had moved. I frowned, and ran home. I never saw him again. Until this day...
