Chaper 1- Oh God...
*Summer's POV*
*BEEP* *BEEP*
I reached over to my phone that was going off uncontrollably and turned off my alarm. The sun was just starting to beam through the curtains. Monday, I hate Monday. Work starts in an hour but there is no rush. I basically live at work, my aunt owns the 5 star hotel in Melbourne and I help out there just to get some extra cash so I can live my dream as a zoologist. I
do a lot at the Casino
"Summer, Summer are you alive sweetie?" a familiar voice startled me.
"Yeah Aunt Lin. I'm all good" My aunt is so cute when she worries about me.
"Ok that's good. I'm just reminding you that your shift at the front desk starts in half an hour. Ok love?”
"Yeah I'll be ready.” I love working at the hotel but you never get use to the early morning.
It's 6:30am and I have to be there by 7. I have a relaxing but quick shower, washing my hair and body then stepping out of the shower. I slip into my uniform; a black penile skirt with a white business shirt and a pair of black simple heels. I curl my long brown hair into loose curls and pin the side looking professional. I add some natural looking makeup on my eyes and lips remembering not to add too much. Satisfied with the way I look, I get my bag and phone and walk out the door.
Walking into the elevator and pressing the lobby button. I live on the 20th floor so the elevator stooped a few times. Once I finally to the main desk which I was very relieved about seeing how I'm always late. I was greeted by a few people; Ben: the bell boy, Vicky: our head cleaner and Sarah one of the girls a work alongside with.
While I was setting up my things and getting ready for the day, Aunt Lin greets me and starts to explain the day, the usual routine.
"Ok daring, today is a very important day. we are getting visitors form a boy band, I think they said the name was One Direction but anyway, they are staying for about a week and a bit so everything has to be perfect but I already know you can do that quite well. They arrive at 9am so that leaves us about 2 hours"
"Ok, that's fine, is there anything I could do to help? it looks like we have a surprising quiet morning" I say as I look around the lobby and its actually empty, wow that's a first.
"No, no Summer that's quite alright love. I think Vicky and her team have already got the cleaning almost done and David has everything organised. All I ask of you is too stay where you are and you can check the boys in when they get here. How does that sound?"
There was a long pause while I tried to process what Aunt just said........ Did
she just say she wants me to check the boys in........umm.....umm.......yep it just processed and WHAT.
"So what you’re saying that you want me to umm thanks but no thanks" I say as calmly as I could but that failed as the choked the last word.
I mean anyone would have jumped at the opportunity of serving One Direction but not me. I'm neither a director nor a fan it’s just.......long story short:
Harry Styles and I were the bestest friends since we were 8 until he disfriended me and turned into a massive dick once we were seniors. I signed Harry up for the X factor has a surprise; I always knew he was a great singer. A couple of days before the X factor he stopped talking to me and he still went on X factor and become a part of 1D. But I couldn't care less and I haven't talk to Harry since but I don't think he even noticed my disappearance. When my mum and dad died that year I moved to Melbourne, Australia to live with my Aunt. So that's my background boring but thought it might help to know.
"Summer you are one of best, I'm sure you'll do great. It's just the same like every other check you have done. You've done it plenty of times." She kissed my forehead then continued "Ok well Summer I have to do some running around for some upcoming events so I'll be back tonight. Bye love" Aunt Lin kissed me once more than leaved.
Aunt Lin was right, I have done it plenty of times but I never thought I was going to see him again and this was not the way I would have imagined it.
As I took a seat on the wheelie chair, I looked through some draws to find some paper work Georgia needed. It's gotta be here somewhere, I thought myself.
"Umm excuse me"
"Good morning welcome to...." Once I looked up I froze.

- Life guard 3 days a week
- Helper at the gym 2 nights a week
- And sometimes clean whenever I'm needed.
