Abrial's POV
*2 weeks later*
I got dressed for work. After Caden somehow talked the doctors into not giving me rehab, I talked Caden into letting me leave the house. I got a job at Forever 21 in the mall downtown. I got a job so I could get more clothes. From what I heard Darren threw all of my clothes in the attic, and he won't answer the door when I come to get them. He also told mom and dad that I'm in rehab and that everything is fine. It's really not. My life is so horrible at the moment. Every time I get home Caden is either high or passed out. It seems that I can't escape this nightmare I'm living.
I head to work after checking to see if Caden was awake, he wasn't, of course. I get to the mall and park the car in my usual spot. I walk inside and head to the store. Along the way, I get many compliments on my outfit. I walk into the store and head to the back to clock in. After saying hi to other workers, I headed back into the front of the store. I walked around and found some cute outfits. I put shoes and clothes back on the right rack and such. Who walked in next suprised me.
Zayn and a a very pretty girl. They were holding hands so I assumed they were dating. They walked around and the girl picked out many cute outfits. Finally after I walked around some more, hoping they wouldn't see me, I bumped right into them. Just my luck. I looked up at Zayn and the girl and apologized right away. I decided to cover my nervousness up with
"Hi, I'm Abrial, may I help you with anything?" I waited for her answer before she said.
"Oh, no thank you, I was just going to try these on." She seemed very bubbly and polite. Zayn looked uncomfortable and she said a quick I'll be back before leaving me there with Zayn. Zayn looked at me and sighed.
"Well, long time no see huh?" I looked down, this is awkward. I didn't know what to say. Just as I was about to say something, he said.
"You know Louis misses you? He goes out every night. He comes home with girls who have brown hair and hazel eyes, like yours." I sighed.
"Well, I can't help it, I love Caden." Zayn looked hurt. He looked at me and started to say something, but the girl interrupted. She came out looking very satisfied. She told me she would like to buy the the outfits. I looked back to tell her to go see Karen, but no one was there. Great. I told her to follow me. I went behind the counter and she handed me her clothes. I rung them up and told her the total. She paid and after she was done she said.
"Oh my, how rude of me, I'm Perrie and this is my boyfriend Zayn! Lovely outfit by the way!"
"Nice meeting you guys! Come back soon!" I smiled at her and ignored Zayn's glare. They walked out of the store and just as I walked away something fell on the floor. I looked down to see a paper.
Zayn- ***-***-****(Made up number)
I looked at the paper and shoved it in my pocket. I walked around the store some more and pretty soon it was lunch. I went and got something to eat. I decided to call Zayn.
Ello?
Hey Zayn, I want to talk to you, I have no one else to talk to.

I'm scared, you know that saying calm before the storm?
Yeah....
Caden's been weirdly distant since the accident.
I don't know, maybe it has something to do with....
Something to do with what Zayn?

Zayn what is- The line hung up. Ughh! Why is he so difficult. I went back to the shop after throwing away my trash. I worked for a few more hours and clocked out. I went out to the car, when I got in, the car wouldn't start. Fuck me! I got out of the car and slammed the door. I started walking back to the house when everything went black.
Zayn's POV
Perrie said that she needed to go back to the mall, she had forgotten to get something she saw. I made a U-turn and right when I turned the corner I saw someone laying on the ground in the middle of the road. Perrie saw and squealed before jumping out of the car and rushing to the person. I followed right behind. When we reached the person, she started waking up. Abrial. She looked around before asking Perrie what happened. Perrie explained to her that we found her on the ground like this and she remembered what happened. She stood up and thanked us before walking away texting. I asked her if she needed a ride and she said no. Perrie begged her to let us give her a ride.
After many "pleeeeeease's" she gave in and hopped in the car. She told me to drop her off at the cafe nearby, and she would just walk home. I wonder why she didn't want me to drop her off at the house. I drop her off and Perrie and I warn her to be careful. She says okay and thanks before walking into the cafe. I finally drove off, worried about what had happened to her.

I told them to drop me off at the cafe, I didn't want Caden to know that I saw Zayn today. He would freak. I walked in the cafe to make them believe that I needed to get something. As soon as they drove away, I walked back outside and walked the three blocks back to the house. I made it to the house and walked inside. I noticed the house was dead silent. I called for Caden and got no answer. I went into the kitchen to find a note.
I went to a friends house, I'll be back later. Wear something sexy to bed, I've got a surprise for you when I get home.

Oh no. I have a feeling that this is going to be the first ever surprise that I don't want. I know I have to follow his orders or else. I head down the hall and put this on. I lay on the bed and wait for a surprise that I hope I could get out of.
