One Heart With a Million Voices

Harry’s P.O.V.
“Alright where are we gonna go eat?” niall asked
“Um we could go to that restaurant around the corner.” Zayn suggested
“Alright lets go” Louis said before walking out of the building and we followed behind him. As we turned on the side walk we saw the girl that was hired as our new guitarist. Yeah it’s weird that she didn’t mention her name.
“Hey isn’t that the girl that was with us just now.” Liam said reading my mind.
“Yeah should we invite her to eat with us?” Niall asked
“Yeah and like that we could get to know her.” Zayn said and we all nodded our heads and ran towards her. All of us calling out to her but she never turned around.
“Hey wait up” I yelled and she slowed down her pace enough for us to catch up to her.
“What do you want” she said
“Well we wanted to know if you would want to go eat with us” Liam said.
“Thanks but no thanks I already ate” she said harshly but a few seconds later her stomach made an almost dying whale sound. She ran a hand through her hair and shook her head.
“Damn it” she said under her breath.
“Are you sure you don’t want to go” niall asked a smile creeping up onto his face.
“Ok fine whatever. Where were you planning to go” she asked
“Um some restaurant around the corner.” Louis said and as soon as the words fell out of his mouth she dropped her skate board and left.
“I’ll see you there” she said turning the corner and continuing down the sidewalk to the restaurant.
“Wow” Zayn said
“She seems nice doesn’t she” Louis said sarcastically
“She’s… something” Liam said before we all started pacing down the sidewalk.

Comet’s P.O.V.
When I saw the restaurant I walked in and went straight towards the bathroom and waited for them to walk in. I kept popping my head out the door to see if they were here but they weren’t. I waited awhile longer and peered outside for the fifth time. As soon as I opened the door the five boys walked in and took a seat and looked around probably looking for me. But I’ not gonna sit with them that’s why I was waiting to see where they would sit. I walked out and they boys noticed they all smiled and waved me over. Thank god I have these aviators or they would’ve seen my eyes traveling to the other side of the restaurant.
I walked to a booth as far away from the boys as possible and sat down. I took my phone out of my pocket and plugged in my headphones and I started lightly bopping my head to the music. I unzipped my backpack and took out my sketch book and started drawing. Not long after out of the corner of my eyes I saw five boys walk towards me and sit down. I immeadtily closed my sketch book and looked up.
“Why are you here” I snap
“Well I don’t think you saw us at our table so…here we are” harry smiled and I rolled my eyes even though they can’t see. I scoffed and pressed my back against the wall turning slightly so I brought my knees to my chest and I opened my sketch book again and went back to drawing. I could hear them try to talk to me and ask me questions and I tried to zone them out but I couldn’t so I picked up my phone up from the table and I increased the volume on my music. And them noticing they frowned. What the heck why are they frowning. I shrugged and brushed it off and focused on my drawing that is until someone grabbed my phone and paused my music.
“Hey what the heck.” I yelled earning a few glance from other people.
“we want you to talk to us.” Louis said who had grabbed my phone and put it on his lap.
“Well that isn’t gonna happen. Now give me my phone.”
“At least tell us your name we still don’t know your name.” niall said
“Why do you wanna know my name” I asked
“because we’re going to be seeing a lot of each other so it would be nice to at least know your name” Liam said
“Oh my god fine Comet. My name is Comet. Can I have my phone back.” I said and looked at Louis extending my hand out for him to place my phone in my hand but he didn’t.
“No not until you answer some more questions.” Louis said.
“Oh sweetie I wasn’t asking.” I smiled and extended my hand out again.
“No” he smirked. Damn this kid just won’t budge.
“Do it before I scream” I smirk.
“You wouldn’t dare” he said back.
“Oh really” I say
“Really” he nods slightly still smirking and I shrug.
“Help their trying to rape-” I got cut off by Liam pressing his hand over my mouth muffling the rest of the sentence. When he didn’t remove his hand I bit him and he hissed and pulled his hand away.
“Ow she bit me” he said wincing and I smile.
“I’m still not giving you your phone back” he said and I groaned and gave in.
“Ok fine I’ll answer three questions and you’ll give me my phone back.” I negotiated and they all nodded.
“Ok you have three questions so ask wisely.” I said
“Ok um what’s with the glasses” niall asked and I whip my head around, my hair hitting his face in the process.
“That’s none of your damn business” I growl and his face flushes.
“Sorry” he mumbles and I back away from him.
“Um ok well how old are you” Zayn asks
“Um I’m about to turn twenty.” I say and they all nod
“Where are you from ‘cause you don’t have an accent.” Liam asks
“I’m from Alaska. There that’s it those were your three questions.” I extend my hand out and Louis rolls his eyes and puts my phone in my hand.
“Thank you” I smile.
We all sat in silence waiting for our food. Well I stay silent the boys keep talking and I just listen in and mentally say stuff about their conversation.
“I can’t wait to continue out world tour-”
“What” I cut harry off
“Yeah we are in tour we just finished our American tour. We are just off right now before we continue with the rest.” Harry says. Jesus Christ a world tour with these idiots.
“Lord Almighty” I say under my breath and the boys’ chuckle.
“Yeah and then when we’re done with this ongoing tour we have another world tour.” Zayn smirks. Screw you Zayn.
“crap I signed a four year contract.” I sigh and put my head in my hands. Great now I can’t get out of the contract. What have I gotten myself into?
