Chapter 16.
Comet’s P.O.V.
“Aw little girl’s mad” a tall lanky blond haired boy taunted sticking out his bottom lip and shaking his head lightly. Ok I know who I’m gonna hurt first.
“Actually no little girl’s pissed” I said raising my head a little.
“Comet let’s not do anything stupid. Come on lets go.” Louis says with a stern look on his face.
“Hell no you followed me you’re the one that’s gonna leave. And I’ll deal with you later I’ve got something I need to do.”
“Comet please lets go.” niall pleads waving me over. But I refuse and I can hear them sigh in defeat. But they all look worried and concerned. I shake it off and focus on the matter at hand.
“Ok look whoever pushed me off the half pipe just needs t step forward and apologize and no one has to go to the hospital.” I say with a smile trying so hard to contain my anger and rage.
“There’s no way in hell that’s gonna happen.” A short boy in baggy jeans and a black t-shirt says with a smirk on his face. Ok then hospital it is.
“Oh what makes you say that?” I say walking towards him so I’m only a foot away from him. I’m challenging him to hit me because that’s what I need him to do, is hit me. He stares at me for awhile weighing his options and does exactly what I wanted him to do. He swings his right arm and makes impact with my left cheek. But I don’t move my head turns to the right but nothing more. I don’t stumble back nor do I wince, which surprises everyone. I look at the boys at the bottom of the half pipe, they all look angry, surprised, and concerned. I focus back to the boy I laugh before I lightly touch my bottom lip. There’s blood on my index and middle finger. Perfect. In my mouth I gather as much saliva as I can before I spit in the boy’s face. He backs away his eyes closed and a disgusted look on his face.
“oh you’ve done it now.” The tall lanky one says walking over to me and slapping my face.
“Damn guy you hit like a girl.” I say making a fist and hitting him straight in the gut and he bends over in pain. I grab his shoulders and I knee his right shoulder and something pops and he yells in pain. I just dislocated his shoulder oh but I’m not done yet. I then stomp on his now dislocated shoulder and kick it before another boy spins me around and tries to knee me but I block it. I grab his leg and smash it against my knee before I fall forward landing on his leg, he screams in pain and I then figure out why. His bone popped out there’s blood gushing out. I quickly get to my feet and see my top is stained with blood.crap. One of the guys runs over to him and drags him away from me. Did I really just do that?
“Comet stop” Liam yells running over to the ladder and claiming up.
“Now you’re dead” another one comes at me. I don’t want to severely hurt him so I got a hold of his arms and jumped off the half pipe. He landed on his back and I landed on top of him. I bolted up and ran but my left leg hurts like hell. I obviously wasn’t that fast so the boys caught up to me. And with every step I took they took two to which I didn’t understand why.
“Comet what the hell was that.” Louis practically yelled
“Comet are you alright.” Zayn asks jogging up to my side and was about to rest his hand on my shoulder but withdrew it. Good choice.
“Jesus comet what were you thinking. You could’ve killed someone.” Liam says
“Comet your leg, its um it’s bleeding.” Niall said
“Comet please just stop and explain what the hell just happened.” Harry says
“oh my god please just shut up shut up shut up.”I yell spinning around to face them my face getting red with anger. “listen I don’t need your help, I don’t need you to worry about me, I don’t need you to be concerned about me, I don’t need your sympathy, and I sure as hell don’t need you. Ok so just leave me the hell alone” I yell before turning back around and started to walk or limp until something made me stop in my tracks.
“No we won’t stop because you’re our friend I guess and friends care about each other they look out for each other.” Liam says
“and even if you don’t consider us friends you’re a part of the “one direction” family and family sticks together whether you like it or not,” Louis said.
“No I’m not your friend I’m not a part of the “one direction” family because I’ve always been alone and I prefer to be alone. So just leave me alone.” I try to put as much emphasis on “alone” as I could but them being them they didn’t get it.
“Oh well that’s too bad because we don’t take no for an answer.” Zayn says shrugging.
Come on comet just once just let someone in just once. Or at least try not to be so mean to them they’re trying so hard to be friends with you please. Just let your guard down for once just do it. They care about you they really do just give in. my mind says and repeats it over and over again like a stupid commercial jingle that I just can’t get out of my head.
No don’t do it comet it’s a trap just like all the other times they’re trying to trick you but don’t give in no matter what. You’re doing just fine the way you are you don’t need anyone. You never have and you never will. And I really don’t think I can take anymore jabs just please don’t do it. My heart says and she’s right I can’t let my guard down not now not ever I’m doing just fine the way I am I don’t need anyone but I want someone but I don’t think I can bear the pain that’s gonna come with it. I just can’t do it I’m gonna stick to what I know best and that’s pushing people away.

Yes I know I made that promise and I am going to update but I'm going to update the new and improved chapters. The point is I am going to keep that promise but I want to tweak my chapters before I do that because there is stuff that I wanted to hint at you but I didn't so I'm going to take it down and write it like I had originally planned to do. But again it's going to be the same concept the same storyline but it's going to be better. I will update I will I promise you I will
