One Heart With a Million Voices
Chapter 14.
Comet’s P.O.V.
“Rise and shine” Louis said in a sing-song voice while tapping the edge of the bunk. What a great way to start the day.
“I’m up ok I’m up.” I said rubbing my eyes and placing a pair of black ray-bans over them. I exhaled before poking my head out of my bunk and making sure the coast was clear before folding my arms across my chest and rolling out onto the floor. I jumped up and brushed off the dust before proceeding to the bathroom, picking up the clothes I had left out the day before. I closed the door behind me and locked it before stripping down to my bra and panties. I tugged a black muscle tee with the words “army” written across it in big bold white letters along with some camouflage jeans and a black knit beanie to finish it off. I walked out of the bathroom and went to the small ass kitchen. Which to be honest was only a stove, a small oven and a microwave and yet they still call it a kitchen.
“Where are you going” Liam asked before taking a spoonful of his cornflakes.
“Out” I said pouring myself what was left of the coffee.
“Ok yes I can see that but where exactly.” He pressed on.
“Somewhere in the city.” I said not wanting to reveal my whereabouts. I drank the scorching hot liquid leaving a nice burning sensation. I exhaled and left the kitchen to go to my bunk.
“Hey Comet get your stuff we’re here at the hotel.” Niall said gathering up his stuff and leaving. Ugh. I stuffed as much as I could into my backpack and the rest went into the small carry-on. Ok I’m done with my bags now all I need to do is put on my shoes. I grabbed my favorite combat boots and walked over to the couch. I sat down and slipped on my socks but. I stopped halfway on my right foot and stared at the small letters inked into my skin. I traced the letters “a prayer for the wild. A heart kept in cages.” Alongside my foot and smiled. I then removed my left sock and stared at the inking on that one. “Inhale the future, exhale the past.” It read wrapping it’s self around my foot just below my ankle. I smiled before shaking my head and pulling up both of my socks up and lacing my combat boots. I stood up and smoothed the creases in my jeans and top before I strapped in my skateboard onto my backpack and slung it over my shoulder. I wrapped my fingers around the handle of the carry-on and quickly made my way inside the hotel. When I got inside I spotted Paul and he waved a card in the air smiling at me.
“Here you go comet this is your room key.” He said as he handed it to me. “Your room is 605 which is on the sixth floor.”
“Ok thanks Paul.” I said turning around and heading to the elevators. I quickly make my way over to the elevators and press the button with the huge six printed on it. But when the elevator doors started to close someone stuck their hand and the elevator doors opened. Oh great. When the doors opened I looked up and Zayn Liam and Harry looked at me then look at each other. Zayn and Liam shrug and they walk in forcing me to move to create space for them to fit in and all their crap. Harry kinda hesitated but got in as well. This was awkward as hell. The only sound anyone made was either breathing or the constant sound of feet shuffling.
“Oh my god, stop moving.” I say annoyed by the damned noise and as soon as the words leave my mouth they stop. Thank god.
Ding
“Thank god that’s over.” I mumble under my breath as the doors open and I push past Zayn to get out but I hear footsteps behind me and the barely audible whispers that sound too damn familiar. I turn around and I wince. Crap. Ok just relax Comet. Crap I hate them. Ugh. I keep walking and they do too. Finally I can see my room on the other side of the hall. I quicken my pace but I really want to get there so I start running. I stop in front of the door and insert the card and the device blinks green. I wrapped my hand around the cool metal handle and swing open the door. I exhale and drop my stuff on the small but really cute couch I grab a water bottle off one the counters and twist open the cap taking a big gulp of water.
“Ok I have about two hours before rehearsals let’s go then.” I whisper to myself as I glance at a digital clock on the night stand. I unbuckle my skateboard and then I slung one of my backpack straps onto my right shoulder. And I dropped down my skateboard and skated down the hotel hallway to the elevator and then proceeded down to the lobby. I stopped before I left the hotel lobby and pulled out my phone and looked up the nearest skate park. Yes its only a block and a half away. I plug in my earbuds and stick them into my ears the music draining out the sound of the world around me.

Yes I know I made that promise and I am going to update but I'm going to update the new and improved chapters. The point is I am going to keep that promise but I want to tweak my chapters before I do that because there is stuff that I wanted to hint at you but I didn't so I'm going to take it down and write it like I had originally planned to do. But again it's going to be the same concept the same storyline but it's going to be better. I will update I will I promise you I will
