Chapter 4 - Who is He?
Ellie’s POV
I walk into my room and chuck my bag onto my bed. I get my laptop from under my bed and log in. Suddenly my puppy Hatchi comes from the covers and jumps onto my bed
My mum said she had a dog when I was little but died so I got exactly the same dog and called it the same name.
“One second Hatchi” I say stroking my dog on my lap. I don’t know why my mum called her dag Hatchi; probably some cartoon
I go on Facebook but grab my phone ringing my Aunt Jade. She might know who this Zayn guy is. I start ringing then after a couple of rings the phone is answered
“Banjo house” It was Tom, he is so adorable
“Hey Tom, its Ellie” I say smiling
“Hello Ellie” Tom says giggling
“Could I talk to Aunt Jesy” I say
“Sure...MUMMY” I hear the phone move then Aunt Jesy comes to the phone
“Hey Ellie” Jesy answers
“Hey Aunt Jesy. Um I have a question” I say
“What is it” Aunt Jesy asks
“Who is Zayn Malik” I ask. There is a silence then Aunt Jesy starts to speak again
“Why do you want to know” Aunt Jesy asks
“I met him today at Uncle Louis and Aunt Eleanor house and I want to know how she knows him” I say looking at my Facebook
“I think you should ask you mum because it should be from her” Aunt Jesy says
“Fine” I hang up and put my phone down. Wait, he must have a Facebook account. I go on search then put ‘Zayn Malik’ on the search engine
I look at the searches. Wow, they are millions. Instead of people there are pages which have millions of likes each. I couldn’t find anything useful so I went on Google. Again I searched up the name ‘Zayn Malik’ then suddenly millions of pages come up. I click on the first one which is a news article
It shows a picture of Zayn and...my mum; they are kissing. I look down and read the article
‘It is official; the famous Zayn Malik from One direction is now single. The superstar singer from the massive boy band has broken up with his 2 year long girlfriend Perrie Edwards from Little Mix. There is no sign of either of the couple but people say that the boys from 1D will be doing their Where are we stadium tour in 2014. But the questions are who is going to get Hatchi they adorable dog and also who is going to be the next Mrs Zayn Malik’
I scroll down and see pictures of my mum and Zayn. One where they are kissing, another of Uncle Louis, Harry, Niall, Liam and Zayn and underneath the picture it said ‘One direction at KCAs; then another of Aunt Jesy, Jade, Leigh Anne and mum and underneath it says Little Mix at KCAs. The last one of them holding a dog that looked like Hatchi; was Hatchi Zayn and mum’s dad. Wait when did they broke up
I go on Google and search ‘When did Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards break up’ I press search then go on Answers.com. I look at the answer; ‘21st January 2013’
I go to my calendar and look up January, so I was born in September. That means Zayn Malik is my dad; my did my mum not tell me about her past
