Chapter 14 - Dinner
Zayn's POV
As Ellie leaves to the kitchen Perrie comes in at a moment of silence
"Why don't you sit down" I say walking to the sofa
"If I have to" Perrie mutters. She sits next to me but as far away as she can
"We need to talk about...about Ellie" I say sighing
"Why" Perrie asks
"Perrie, she is my daughter and have spent 14 years of my life not knowing about her. Don't you think I wanted to see her first word, her first walk, her first sentence, first day of school or the little things like really her a bedtime story or watching TV with her" I say
"Zayn, you broke up with me and what do you expect me to do" Perrie says her eyes glossy
"Tell me, she would rather find out she has a father than someone being dead" I say
"I wanted to contact you but that I found you had a girlfriend" Perrie says
"I don't have a girlfriend anymore. I broke up with her today" I say
"I'm sorry" I look up and see that Perrie is really sad
"It’s OK" I say
"We should talk about the custody of Ellie" Perrie says
"Yeah but afterwards" I say "Also is Ellie coming on your with us on tour"
"Yeah, I mean both her parents are coming on your so she should come" Perrie says
"Mum, Zayn. DINNER!!!!" Ellie shouts from the kitchen. We both stand up and walk into the kitchen. Ellie is already sat by the table eating
"You'd better take the food fast. Ellie has a big appetite" Perrie says giggling
"I can tell" we both sit down and grab our food. After talking about different things like school and work I finally bring up the tour
“Ellie, me and your mum have talked about the tour and we are taking you with us” Zayn says
“I get to skip school and go around the world. Get in” Ellie says with excitement
“There probably be a tutor or someone to teach you” Perrie says
“Great” Ellie says with disappointment “Will it just be me”
“I don’t know but you will find out soon” I start eating then I see Ellie standing up
“Have you finished” I ask confused
“Yeah, I have a big gob” I chuckle as Ellie walks away. After me and Perrie finish they are ready to leave
“It was a nice dinner” Perrie says
“Thanks” I say. Well this is awkward
“Bye Zayn” Ellie says while hugging me. I hug back smiling. We let go and they walk out while I shut the door behind me
Suddenly my phone starts to beep. I pick it up and see a text from Liam
Check Sun website. L
I put my phone down and go onto the Sun website on my laptop. I comes up then on the front page is Ellie with me. The title says Zerrie love child. Damn
