Malik's Daughter
Chapter 11 - Hello New Goodbye Old
Zayn's POV:
"T-T-Tour?" I stammer. I hadn't heard the word tour in years. We hadn't been together as One Direction in years. They hadn't been together as Little Mix in years. We hadn't gone on tour in years. We hadn't gone on tour together since the beginning of time! And now all of a sudden, "Oh yea Zayn! We are going on tour with Little Mix! This will be great!" This was CRAZY!
"No, not 'T-T-Tour'. Just tour. This will be soooo fun!" Niall replied.
"But what about... you know... history?" I asked, eyeing Ellie. Ellie and Natasha were staring at me intently, listening to every word I said.
"What history? Oh! You and Perrie? You'll be fine. Besides, you've got Ellie now! C'mon! It'll be great!" he urged.
"Um... Niall, I'll deal with you later. I've got other problems right now. See ya, man" I said, hanging up without giving him time to answer.
"So... where were we?" I asked the women.
"Your girlfriend here hates children. And apparently you do too," Ellie retorted with an angry huff.
"No! Ellie, honey! Of course I don't! I love children!" I pretested.
"Zayn! We agreed on this. We both despise kids, remember?" Natasha insisted.
"Natasha, you hate kids. I love kids." I said.
"No I know the truth," Ellie said, "Natasha hates kids. You also hate kids. That's why you left -"
I cut her off, " That's why I left to New York when I was young. I didn't like living with my family since they loved children," I said. I couldn't afford for Natasha to find out Ellie was my daughter right now.
"New York? You never told me that," Natasha said, confused.
"You're just the same two-faced parent, just like mum," Ellie said, placing her hand on the door knob ready to leave.
"Ellie, don't leave. Please," I begged, "I'm sorry. I love you Ellie, wether you're my daughter or not," I said.
I had to fix things up with Perrie and me if we are going to go on tour together, and the first step it to start acting like a real father.
That stopped her. She inhaled deeply and turned her head slightly to look at me. There was the slightest hint of hope in her eyes. I really did love her. Yes, I didn't know Ellie until a week ago, but I still love her. She is most likely my daughter. No. She is my daughter. I don't care if biologically I'm her father or not, but I am her father mentally.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY?" Natasha shrieked. Oh no. I'd forgotten she was in the room. "Zayn Javaad Malik! What did you say she was?"
Well, my times of being frightened of angering Natasha was over. She would get the truth. She would live with the truth. She would get out of my life today and never come back. I've had enough of her.
"I said Ellie is my daughter." I said.
"WHAT?" she screamed.
"Ellie is my daughter," I repeated, "do you need a hearing aid? I've repeated it three times now,"
"How dare you... you..." she gasped.
"How dare I what? Have a daughter thirteen years before I met you? I don't think that is any of your concerns." I retorted.
"You... you..."
"Looking for a bad word to say? I don't think this is a safe environment for you to be right now. My daughter is here and I don't want you to be teaching her to swear. It's best if you leave, Natasha," I said, pointing to the door, which Ellie had now let go of.
With a huff, Natasha twirled around and headed out the door. "This isn't over, Malik!" she screamed as she bolted out onto the street.
"So glad I got rid of that witch," I said, shutting the door.
Ellie still stood by the door, frozen in shock.
"Ellie, sweetie, are you okay?" I asked, worried.
"Wha...?" she murmured.
"Hmm?" I asked.
Ellie shook her head, trying to get out of her shock.
"What just happened?" she asked.
"Well, I realized I have a daughter. Natasha also realized I have a daughter. She got mad and left," I stated.
"Will she... will you... is she going to break up with you?" she asked, frightened.
"No, I won't let her. I will break up with her first," I said, smiling.
"I'm so sorry, Zayn! I shouldn't have come! I ruined your relationship with -"
I cut her off, "Don't say her name, please. And you didn't do anything but make things easier for me. I've been wanting to break up with Natasha for months now, but I was scared of her. Now that I've gotten rid of her, I feel so free," I told her.
"And what was that about me being your daughter?" Ellie asked.
"Oh, well, I realized that, biologically or not, I am your father. For some reason, l feel protective of you," I said, "I don't know why, but I just do,"
She stared at me.
"Hey! By the way, I was planning on inviting your mum over for dinner. What do you say?" I asked her.
"I'm finally going to have a proper dinner with my mum and dad, like a proper family! Call her! Call her! Please!" Ellie squealed.
I smiled. She just called me dad.
"T-T-Tour?" I stammer. I hadn't heard the word tour in years. We hadn't been together as One Direction in years. They hadn't been together as Little Mix in years. We hadn't gone on tour in years.
