(Zayn’s P.O.V)


We finished eating and Manyu and Priyasha left with promises to meet up soon and have tons of fun. As soon as they were gone Isha started doing the dishes. Thinking I might help her I started wiping down the table.

“Don’t do that, please. I will just faint now if I see the zayn malik wiping the table at my house” she said.

“Umm I just wanted to help”

“It’s okay iv got it covered. U can help by entertaining me while I do the dishes” she said raising her eyebrows at me.

Hmm entertain? Okay!

I sarted singing “It’s getting hot in here” and pulled off my t-shirt.

“what are you doing?” she asked me clearly not expecting this.

“urggg you are so impossible. What makes you think stripping is gonna entertain me?” she asked.

“so are you saying you didn’t enjoy that?” I asked with a pout.

She sighed rather fakely as well “ I suppose I did enjoy it” and she laughed.

She finished doing the dishes and we walked out to the living room again. We sat down on the couch, further away from each other than I would have liked, and I had a feeling she was gonna tell me about lexi.

“umm so when I was about four, my mother went to Philippines. She has to travel a lot because most of the ATC trainings happen overseas. There she made a very good friend, another ATC who had come for training. So her friend, Grace, was a single mother with a small child, 2 years old. It was a month long training and my mom and Grace got very close, so close that she extended her stay in the Philippines for a week more just to have fun and chill with her friend. They always kept in touch even when she was back and we even went to Philippines a few times to meet her and her little girl. We absolutely loved that little girl, she was so playful and fun. But 2 years ago, Grace called mom and started crying on the phone. All incoherent and mom was so worried that she took the next flight out to meet her. When she went there she was so shocked. She found that Grace had lung cancer and wouldn’t survive for a long time, she found out in the last stage you see… so then dad too flew there and they adopted lexi. After Grace passed away Lexi came to live with us. But I think of her as my very own sister. We were always kind of close because our mothers were but now we are like inseparable. Not a day goes by without me talking to her, she is a tough kid and I love her so much.”
By the end of that story I had tears in my eyes and I saw Isha was teary as well.
“that was…wow. I don’t even know what to say. I really admire you and your parents that’s for sure! You realize u changed somebodys future right?”

Isha smiled weakly. She knew. Ofcourse she knew. What a dumb thing to say Malik. I really had no idea what to say to her so I went ahead and hugged her and she immediately hugged me back. I had to do something to lighten the mood but I had no idea what.

“Okay enough with the emotional stuffs. Let’s have some fun around the house” Isha said pulling out of the hug, I really didn’t want to let her go though.

“umm actually I was thinking, it’s so hot and you have a pool?”

“hehe okay lets go get changed” she said and headed towards my room.

“why are you going towards my room?”

“ummm, cuz right besides your room is my room?” she asked me back and I chuckled.

“don’t take too long” I said and I went to my room realizing I had nothing to wear. I sat there thinking of my options, before I decided the pajama bottoms would have to suffice.

okay so officially not my best chapter. i suck at writing emotional stuffs. this chapter was supposed to be touching but damn i struggled to write this. much more fun coming up and i will update soon again, maybe tonight if i dont fall asleep or sth. anyways okay thanx for reading and vote if u havnt already! <3
