Louis coughed loud, and then looked apologizing at me. I think he felt guilty about the coughing, but also about something else.

"I'm sorry, Kath. I don't know what got to me.." He said low.

"Do you mean about drinking from Liams cup, or for not trusting me?" I smirked.

He slightly laughed, but collapsed in another cough.

"You know which one of them I mean.." He said, still coughing.

"No, I'm sorry. I know it might have seemed sketchy that I wanted Harrys number, and then.. Texted someone while you're gone. But I was telling you the truth. It was a friend, and what I told her was personal. That's why I didn't wanna show it." I smiled.

Louis nodded.

"And as for Harry.." I said. "I'm not into him. I just wanna be friends with him, that's why I wanted the number. Swear."

Then I got the strangest feeling. Was I telling the truth now? It's not like I was lying.. But it was like I told him what I wanted to believe. I really wanted to feel honest while telling him that, but.. it felt like I was lying. Strange.

"Okay, I believe you." Louis said.

I swallowed.

"Good." I said short.

He was about to say something, but his face changed and he ran to the bathroom to throw up. Three out of five, I thought. Now it was only Niall and Harry left. Or more like only Niall left. And as if Louis throwing up wasn't enough, a few seconds later, my phone started to ring. It was a blocked number.

"Hello?" I said.

"Is this Kath?" Someone said.

"Yeah, why?"

"This is Darren, Nialls roommate." The guy said. "Niall got infected, and someone need to take care of him."

Why can't you take care of him? I thought irritated. Not like I didn't want to, but he was kind of a mean roommate.

"Sure, I can. But why can't you?"

"Uhm, I don't wanna get sick?" He laughed.

I sighed.

"Send him up to Liams room. 194."

He hung up. I felt sorry for Niall, having that Darren as roommate must be pretty bad. A few minutes later, I heard a knock on the door.

"Who is it?" Liam asked with a raspy voice.

"It's Niall. Now you're all sick. Yay." I laughed and opened the door.

A guy held Niall in his arms. How sweet.

"Who are you?" I asked while smiling.

"Darren." He grinned.

Oh gosh. My feelings turned around. He was far away from sweet. I took Niall fast from his arms.

"I got this from now on." I snapped and closed the door. "Hey, how are you?"

I turned his face to mine and he looked really sick.

"Oh my god Niall! You are so pale.."

"Don't worry, he's.. always pale.." Zayn said low and coughed, but I thought he was supposed to laugh.

"How friendly." I giggled and put Niall on a mattress.

"I feel like I'm about to.." Niall started.

I handed him a bucket, and the rest.. well, I think you can figure that out by yourself.
After a few hours, all the boys were alseep. I had gone out to get water, more buckets, towels and food. All of them were pale, weak and threw up everything they swallowed. What was this virus? And how did it come? There was two good things about it though, for the first time on the college, it was actually quiet. And second was that I still wasn't affected by it.

"You're unbelieveble.." Niall said with a weak voice. "You haven't gone sick yet.. It's basically only you on this college.."

That got me to think of Bim. Was she sick?

"I gotta go, but I will be back in a few minutes, okay?" I said and picked up my bag.

"Promise." Niall spoke.

"I promise, sicky." I giggled.

I rushed to the room and locked up. Phew. Bim sat there with her laptop on her knee, looking perfectly good.

"Hey there." She said and looked up on me.

"Aren't you sick?" I asked.

"Are you?"

"Hey, I asked first." I chuckled.

"Fine. No, I'm not sick. I get sick really fast so as soon as I heard about the message from the principal, I rushed over here. And I've been staying here ever since."

"Okay, good for you. Me, on the other hand, have been surrounded by sick people today." I smiled.

"And how are you still alive?"

"I never get sick. Period." I said, smiling.

She nodded and kept looking on the website.

"What are you looking at?" I asked.

"My tumblr-blog, nothing special." She said and pulled it away the screen so I couldn't see.

"Okay. Well, I better get back to the boys. I just wanted to check on you." I winked and put my hand on her leg before I walked to the door.

"Thanks for doing that. It feels like.. I finally.. Nevermind." She said, slightly blushing.

"C'mon, tell me!"

"It feels like I finally matter to someone.." She said low and fast, making me barely hear her.

"You sure do to me." I smiled before closing the door.


It was late evening, almost night. All the boys was asleep, and I was just laying there, staring in the ceiling.

"Kath?"

I flinched and sat up. I really hoped it wasn't a ghost. But it sounded like Liam.

"..Liam?" I asked.

"Yeah, it's me."

"I thought you were asleep!" I said and layed sat on his mattress, leaning over him.

"Yeah I'm tired but.. I have to ask you something."

"What Liam?"

He went silent, but I could hear him swallow. It was pitch-black, but I could almost see his face, and hear his breaths.

"The college organizes a.. like a party on Friday.."

"And..?"

"Do you.. wanna go with me?"

I blushed in the dark. Lucky he couldn't see me. I had been asked the same question a lot of time, but never I had been this flattered.

"Liam.." I whispered. "Of course I will."

I could hear him breath out. And even though it sounds strange, I could hear him smile.
