Forgotten.

The sand is hot, so Louis and I run over it; Lux’s little body bouncing around in his arms as she giggles hysterically.

We finally reach some cool sand on the shore and I spread out our blanket and towels, and set the basket down next to them.

“So, do you wanna go swimming Lux?” Louis asks after he’s layered her with sunscreen.

“YAH YAH YAAAH.”

She claps her hands.

Well, let’s go!”

He looks down at me, spreading the blankets out evenly.

“Are you coming princess?”

I stand up and dust the sand off my knees.

“Of course.” I slip my hand into his and the three of us hit the water.

It’s cool, and Lux shivers and pulls are funny, kinda scared face.

“Oooh Luxy, is that cold?” I laugh.

She hits the palms of her hands on the water, splashing herself in the face.

She gives the water a taste and puts her tongue out. “Yucky.”

“Oh my gosh little one, where are you getting all this big words from?”

She just giggles.

The water is waveless for now, and the sun isn’t beating down to hard, it’s perfect.

Louis sets her down in the water, and it just hits her bellybutton. “You cool here?”

Lux giggles and splashes and we both take that as a yes.

Louis leans back next to her and I crawl over to him.

“Can I have cuddles now?”

Louis smiles and pulls me onto him.

I curl up on his chest, but he rolls me off.

“What was that for?”

“Sorry, I just want to see your beautiful face.”

I giggle and lean on him forwards, so we can see each other.

“You’re stunning, everything about you.”

I think about my frizzy hair, my skin far from flawless, my out of line eyebrows, my thighs and my tummy that I’m so unhappy with.

“Psshh.”

“I mean it.”

The tone in his voice and the look in his eyes show me he means it.

All those flaws that I see in myself, Louis can’t even see.

“You’re perfect.” I smile and lean into his soft kisses. “Where have you been all my life?”

“Waiting for you.”

As I shower, I think about the perfect day that I’ve just had.

With Lux asleep, I can spend as long as I want in here.

With Louis…

He runs his hands along my back and kisses my neck slowly.

“I’ve been waiting so long for you.” He whispers.

I let the water run over us and enjoy the feeling of being held so close.

We fool around a bit, touching each other and feeling around. We make-out a lot, and I let him run his hands all over my body.

It’s the most irresistible feeling.

As much as I want to take it further with him, we’ve decided to wait.

I turn to taps slowly and reach out for my towel. Louis wraps it around me and pulls me into him, and I kiss his chest all over, ever so gently.

“I want you so bad.” I whisper.

“Soon baby.”

sorry I've been away for so long. I'm going through a few things right now and its hard for me to concentrate on stuff like this. I love writing, so I will be back in maybe a week. I just gotta sort some stuff out.
